Wireless alarm
The powermax comes with a wall mount transformer. The powering (mains) is flying lead. So yes you can direct into a spur or fit a plug and plug it in.

HOW TO WIRE PIR SENSORS
yes. It's best imho to have only a device per zone. This will then allow easy identification of the device that alarmed etc. You will wire the circuit pair ie zone 2 to the alarm pair in the detector.

Wireless alarm
In what way? If you mean it can be unplugged then yes it could. But you shouldnt plug them in anyway. They should be hard wired into a spur. But any proper panel has battery backup so if your burglar unplugged it he would have to waut a minimum of 12 hours for the panel to go flat. Then if your remote signalling the panel would send a low battery before dying. If its audible only the sounder would sound once the panel died. All that assumes it installed and configured correctly

[Ticket Question] Recommendations for a full system
A wireless expander is to allow you to put wireless detectors onto a wired panel. (as a rule) it will not in itself wirelessly communicate with the panel. I would suggest a hybrid panel, say a galaxy 2-20 or a scantronic with wired detectors on the one side and wirelss the other. But you may need more stable detectors on the wireless side. If so honeywell do a wireless dualtech for the galaxy range.

Door access control on premier 48
Id agree, i wouldnt connect the mag direct to these outputs. Plus you may need an additional psu to run the lock. A relay would be the best way.

honeywell pet pir problem
lol i wish there was a test way. Only real way is soak testing it. SOme rooms will need the detector to be adjusted differently as you have found out. re a better sensor. Thats a difficult one. From a support point of view we have hew issues with this unit, the bosch blue line, but do get complaints on the pyronix unit. So id say no. But IMHO the best pet sensor out there (plus bear in mind im not a fan of the technology) is the blueline DT

honeywell pet pir problem
they are but they should be fine with a cat. What you must ensure is that any pet on any sensor cannot get within 6 ft of the detector. The creep zone must also be disabled. Also they cant look at stairs. To be fair cats are more of a problem than dogs due to the things they jump on etc. Can you get me an example photo of the room from the sensors perspective? James
