Can this Texecom Speech Dialler work with an Aico fire alarm system, if connected by the Aico Ei428 relay, (which has a switch triggered if the alarm is raised by the Aico sensors fixed around the house)? 2. Can you recommend a UK monitoring service which offers to take messages from this product and act on them? Do you have a wireless smoke detector with a remote sounder that I could use as a separate system? I need it for my detached garage which is some way from the house and am worried that I might not hear a standard smoke detector at night.

I have been looking on your website for some standalone smoke/heat detectors for use in a boiler house. Could you confirm that the relay output is volt free and can be used to connected to remote PLC digital input card (24VDC). Aritech Photoelectric Smoke Detector with c/o relay output Do you do a range that is more suitable for an industrial installation like a boiler house? It has to be standalone and dual heat and smoke and have the facility to repeat the alarm remotely via a relay output?

Emergency Lighting Routine Testing Requirements EN50172:2005 requires that at times of minimum risk the system is routinely tested. The following regime taken directly from the standard shows how often and what should be tested. This is only a brief overview and full consultation with the standard is advised Daily A visual inspection of every maintained emergency luminaire to ensure the lamp is operating correctly and in central or generator based systems that the control panel or indicators are showing normal conditions. Any faults must be entered into the system logbook and a check that any previously reported faults have received attention. Monthly * …

Hi All, I have just moved into my 1940's semi and now on a journey to turn this beautiful house into the automation house I've dreamt of. I have read a lot on this forum and other websites, and my head is about to explode with information that is not relevant to me hence this post. I am after your advice on two projects - an intruder alarm and external security lights. 1. Intruder Alarm The requirements are: - Sensors (i.e. Heat/PIR) downstairs (Lounge, Hallway, Landing and Extension) - Contacts for windows (Lounge x2, Extension x2) - Camera (Lounge x1) - A Panel (position in the Hallway) - A Main Unit (positioned Upstairs) - A Sounder (positioned ext…

Can anyone send me any manuals you have for the non addressable Rafiki fire alarm systems and any other information you have on max loadings and cable lengths etc.. Can you use 4 core cable to add additional devices? Do they do a remote LED? Can you use the output module on the zone? Is the repeater fully functional i.e can you silence reset etc Does it meet EN54 standards? How much warrenty do you get? What DB level do the sounders in the call points kick out? What is the hatari sounder used for? Sorry for all the questions but we are possibly going to change from the equipment we usually use and want to no what the panels are capable of.

I have a 4 zone Bardic Zircon Chloride Fire Panel which the manufacturer tells me is no longer manufactured. It is registering a Power Fault but otherwise perfectly functional. I have replaced both battery and transformer so that leaves only the main circuit board which I am told I can not get anymore. The new Bardic Zircon panel is significantly larger and before I rush to buy one I would like to understand if there are any other options. First does anyone know if I can repairthe existing unit. Second will my detectors and break glass units be specific to Bardic Zircon or could I use them with any other Fire Panel? I certainly want to avoid any wholesale replacement. …

Hi there I am looking to put a wireless sensor; PIR or better still a dual-tec in my Motorhome, which will communicate with a transceiver wired into my Cytech Comfort system. It looks like the Opal RFX - 3 might do what I want at the receive end BUT is this unit only designed for the external PIR's (like the Elite) Opal make. Also, the RFX-3 is slight over-kill budget wise - it looks like it's three channel, I only need the one. So is there another, good quality product, that might fit my needs? There is max of 10 metres between the sensors position in the Mhome and the potential site for the transceiver and I have both N/C and N/O contacts in the panel (plus tamper w…
