What is the difference between Grade2 & Grade3 Sounders

Hi I have a 3-5 year old (can't specifically remember the age) HoneywellTotal Connect 2.0 E system in place with multiple motion sensors, fobs, tags ect....and the control panel seems to have failed - it's not transmitting anymore. So we can't secure our home manually or even using the App. Am I right to assume by purchasing the following new control panel (https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-c-36/kits-c-36_62/honeywell-suepacke-panel-with-gkps8m-keypad-and-four-tags-p-4880.html) it will effectively plug and play with all the existing peripharels (obviously after having to reset the system and reconfigure/link it all back together)? Will the new control panel recognise the older peripherals

I currently have a GJD 2 Zone Solitaire one of the zones the light keeps getting stuck on once activated and does not turn off unless manually turned off at the panel. It has been suggested I may need to replace the zone controller, would the dygizone be a straight swap for the solitaire as I cannot find that model anywhere .

Recently our gate has been having troubles with the panel that allows access. We have what I believe to be a Videx Housing with two supplied panels, speaker and keypad. I've looked for the same models however they seem to be absolute/discontinued therefore I was looking for recommendations on viable replacements as I know nothing about these type of units. I have an old ADE Ultimate (using id biscuit) Burglar alarm system. Purchased in 1993. The remote keypads are playing up. Do you have replacement remote keypads for this system or can you suggest compatible remote keypads for this system? Thanks.

Hi. I'm trying to find a light beam sensor to work on a driveway, to send a signal to my house when a vehicle or person breaks the beam. Can be hard-wired or wireless - the location is about 120m from the house - the back entrance to a farm. I think you must do such devices but I can't see them online.

All has been fine then about a month ago while setting it l received the message open zone 5 l don't know what have caused this. Have you any ideas? That zone is on a PIR Its a Honeywell lS3012.If you think l need to purchase a new PIR let me know or could it just need re programming?

I'm currently self-building a house and am trying to decide on the alarm system (wired v wireless primarily) We have a pet (uses ground floor only) so PIR may be an issue. There are 3 doors (entrance, back and bi-fold) and 9 ground floor windows, plus 2 upstairs by a flat roof. I think I'd prefer wireless if possible, but I have a detached garage with games room above (1.5m from house). I also like the Texecom flush control panel - can you connect 2 of these? Can you recommend a system please?

Hi there, I am looking for a solution if possible for when my customers intruder alarm activates for it to be able to switch on external floodlights? Is this possible with your single control zone unit ie 1803 range or similar. It will be attached to a Texecom Veritas Excel Intruder panel , possibly connected to the bell -ve trigger.

We currently have a Karisma Plus wired system installed. There are 9 zones. It is getting creaky, I have repaired it several times, time for a change. Our Ancient house is not good for wifi, so I want to stick with a wired system for reliability, using existing wires as these are hidden. The Karisma uses a 3 wire id device, which made wiring and set up easy. Is there an equivalent today? Or what do you recommend? Integrating fire detection / alarm would be useful.

got around to installing the pyronix twin alert and the bell output is nice and loud but the spk just clicks? I have it set on a entry/exit output on a galaxy G3 panel and have moved the volume control. To debug I moved the wire I have going to the bell side to the spk and it don't sound? I even tried using the pull up resistor, still didn't work... I know I was somewhat brain frazeled by the time I got to do that (I even wired a sensor to the wrong zone lol) and wondering if I have missed something.. +12v -0v Spk switched to 0v Bell switched to 0v

We are Electrical Contractors (had products from SW in the past) normally install bells only systems but we have been asked us to replace an old system. (monitoring not required)customer ideally want a hard wired system planning to use Pyronix KX15DT`s and Pyronix Databell Plus My question is what would be a suitable control panel 8 zone minimum with 2 RKP`s which will allow programming etc with a Smart or Android phone ? The problem seems to come from the battery supply from motherboard no power to charge battery so flat battery will the unit need to be replaced

W76329 is for the Guardall Px panels prior to V5 and it won't work with Px V5 Panels. All Concentrators were obsoleted with no remaining stock.

Do these - FG8M, DFS8M, CO8M, IR8M, IRPI8M, DO8M, SEF8M, SPR-S8EZ and GKP-S8M, etc. I know the fobs, panic buttons and maybe external siren communicate over encrypted rolling code. These do - TCC800M, TCPA1B and I think this does SEF8M , etc. I am using the Honeywell Evohome Security GPRS model at the moment, that uses the Le Sucre box+. Is the GKP-S8M, which is for the Dominial grade 2 EN50131? As is the Dominial a better control panel to use instead, as that is grade 2 EN50131? I need to have grade 2 EN50131, as I know that is the highest grade for wireless and I need it to be wireless. I know the sensors, external siren, fobs and panic buttons I have are grade 2 EN50131.

Yes Inputs on any expander on the system can be programmed into any area. You can connect a keypad to the RS485 BUS as the expanders including in parallel with the ZEM32-WE.
