  1. Visonic have manufactured the UK market to work on a different frequency to the rest of Europe, so sadly a panel purchased out of the UK will not work with UK peripherals. If the panel and peripherals are all from the UK, then yes they would be compatible to work in any country.
  2. The below options are compatible: https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/videx-extension-sounder-for-vx2200-system-p-4322.html https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/videx-extension-strobe-for-2-wire-systems-p-4323.html
  3. Dependant on the firmware being higher than 17.3 then it would be the Powerlink 3 you would require: https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/visonic-broadband-powerlink-3-p-3957.html
  4. 2 DVRs 16 ch and 1 DVR 8ch that are able to record remotely to a server what do you recomend?
  5. Which country you purchase the panel/peripherals will be in their language, so from us would be English. UK panels/peripherals do work on a different frequency to the rest of Europe, but as long as panel and all peripherals purchased from the same country they will be compatible.
  6. The MCS-730 is compatible, but this has now been superceeded with the MCS-740 which sadly is not compatible.
  7. Please create a ticket and our returns team will be able to help.
  8. Please use our ticket support system, and advise the order number so that we can look into this for you.
  9. Sadly Visonic do not manufacture a Contact with shock sensor, they are two seperate units. However there is a smaller contact now available: https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/visonic-powermaster-vibration-sensor-sd304-p-3661.html https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/visonic-mc302v-vanashing-contact-white-p-4016.html
  10. I'm currently running Ubuntu Linux on my laptop and would like to know which security cameras or kits are compatible with my system. I'm looking at both wired and wireless options. I want a 4 channel system that I can monitor from a web browser or "zonealarm." The control unit or transceiver should be able to connect to my laptop through usb or WiFi.
  11. Can you get a larger ampage model? Is there any advantage in getting a larger ampage model, I am wanting to run 4 sets of Takex 100m Ext/200m Int Intelligent 4 Channel Quad Beams through it. Can you recommend what batteries I should use?
  12. On the unit there should be a ref "868-1:**" 1 denotes UK, 0 European, as UK panels and peripherals are not compatible with European models.
  13. I am looking at purchasing the Honeywell Galaxy Flex 20 UK Panel together with ESP Fireline smoke and heat detectors. Can these be used in conjunction with one another i.e. integrate the detector system into the alarm panel, setting it up as a fire zone? Or are the ESP Fireline detectors only suitable for a fire panel?
  14. On the display screen two lines of Pixels have failed making it difficult to read what is on the lower part of the screen, I have re-booted the unit but there is no change. Do you have any further suggestions for rectifying the fault?
  15. All the PIR's are in alarm activated position, as if someone had walked into the room and activated them. if you disconnected from the zone they are connected to on the PCB, the alarm will set if you place a staple across to complete the circuit on the PCB zone. so the Zones on the PCB are working correctly. If i connected a door contact to each zone the PIR's have been connected to and activate the make and break of it each zone works perfectly. No LED lights are showing on either of the four PIR's, the only common factor these PIR's have is they are all connected to the same power supply on the PCB, that has come to my conclusion the PCB is at fault hence the fault on all four PIR's I cant prove the power at the PCB for PIR's etc is not also the false trigger the alarm is getting in the first place,as it may not happen at time of visit.
  16. the voltage at the board is 13.3v dcwith no voltage drop to the PIR's at 13.3v dcas very short runs of cable, the Ac is 235v ac with not much variation at time of test. All i have connected to the board are the 4 PIR's supplied in the kit model IS215T and the door contact. A Honeywell PA button and a Sonit1 Speaker . Everything else is working apart from the PIR's, but regarding the system false triggers, which show no fault recordings, i have no way of telling if this is fixed or still at fault, due to not being able to set the system, apart from the door switch.
  17. i ordered a Texecom alarm R8+ in 2010. I setup the alarm last year. i got some PIR petwise frmo texecom. Well, i have false alarm during the night 1x / each month in the room where there is a sofa. I have 4 cats. I guess, they jump from the sofa. Do you know a trick to decrease the sensitivity ? or there is another solution / PIR to avoid those alarms to buy ?
  18. Sadly Honeywell advise no wireless speakers will work with the Galaxy panels
  19. All four (IS215T)of the pir's not working thus setting the zones as triggered, i tested the board and you get 13v across the two terminals, if you loop out each zone the alarm works fine. But obviously has a fault on it, to wipe out 4 pirs all at once. There is no explanation to why they have been set off, as the room was empty, then another pir would do the same, but on a different time of day etc this is without the alarm being set, no tamper is being recorded on the LCD key pad. Now all four zones with these pir's fitted have the alarm triggered on walk test and the alarm wont set, there is 13v power at the panel and the pir end all wires have been continuity checked and are ok. No red movement led is lighting on any of the four pir's, the fuse has continuity also. If i disconnect any of the pir and loop them out with a staple at the panel then that zone goes to unset/not triggered. i have got a door contact on another zone that is working fine, along with the internal extension speaker and PA button. Is it possible something is faulty on the panel and thus caused the failure of the four pir's.
  20. I was thinking about additional shock or contact protection for UPVC french doors in the kitchen at the back of the house. I'll have a PIR covering the kitchen area already, it's only a small one, but was thinking about something like the Viper GLX contacted sensor. I know that obviously shock sensors work better/best on a wooden framed doors/windows and obviously UPVC frames are affected by heat expansion etc. What are you thoughts on it, would you recommend it? Or just stick with contacts instead. Thanks in advance.
  21. Can you please tell how to pair these two devices together.
  22. I need to replace an ADE id plus system but without replacing the cabling, do you offer a new system which will work with the id plus cabling?
