The prospect has a door entry system on the front door into the house. They have now decided to have electronic gates. There may be a tube between the gate and the garage but nothing into the house as it's just been refurbished, Are there wireless units available?

Hi, I wonder if you could advise – we are a children’s nursery and we have an issue with parents leaving the front door open. They leave it to swing shut but it doesn’t click securely (when shut properly it has a keypad entry). I would like to put a buzzer on it that goes off when the door is opened and stays on until it is shut again? I’ve looked at the door contact alarms but they all seem to say they have loud alarms. I just want a quiet buzz as a polite reminder rather than an alarm? Do you have any suggestions?

Audio only intercom, call box is on a gate at other end of school from where handset will be located. Is there a system where the call box and handset can plug into network points?

We have been asked to fit a audio only door entry system to a school where the gate is at the other end of the building from reception where the handset will be, approximately 100m away (no line of sight). They have a network phone system which is being upgraded from analogue to digital shortly. Is there a system that could connect to their phone system? I hope you can help please. I have a simple set up of electrically powered gates with an intercom from the house to the gates. Various bits have needed to be replaced over the years so I cannot accurately describe the components. My problem is that the intercom no longer works properly. We found with some research that the entry and receiver volumes could be adjusted within the HA/200 entry module. Now with both set to maximum we can hear from the gates to the house (with some distortion and background noise), but not the other way. (The press buzzer works properly.) hi ,the school where I conduct maintenance has a Videx door entry system VX800-2L that has a defective audio unit.I have noticed an audio speaker unit with two push to speak buttons within your products. My question is would this unit be suitable for a replacement and is there a similar unit with just one button on .

The Videx 845 panel, is a 5 button panel, but does it have the electrical connectors on the rear or is it just a facia panel?

We seem to have a Videx VX 800 and the buzzer button seems to get stuck ever so often; can't hear it inside the house; where can I get the access key to check what's wrong.....can only be a loose connection or something......or??? please advise..........any ideas will be very welcome.........thanks

I'm installing a stand alone door access system and need to know if I use a max reader, would I be able to operate this with the existing key fobs used to operate the intruder alarm max reader. The reader contolling the door would have no connection with intruder alarm system at all.

I have a btp device on my front gate which is designed to ring inside the house and then allow voice contact between any of three interior stations and the gate. There is then a system to open the gate and allow access to the person ringing the bell. Over time, ants, water and sun have damaged the external part and I would like to buy a replacement. there is a number on the back of the interior unit: 32009597 and then E/220. I have a playcentre which has the Videx ART836M external unit and two internal phones. The ambient noise within the playcentre is loud therefore the external call cannot be heard and we are losing business, as people cannot gain access to the centre. I would like to add two internal sounders (one beside each handset to boost the call signal when the external button is pressed, in addition when we pick up the internal phones the reception to external is poor. Hi there I am looking for a door access kit that has the capability to be PC based where users can be logged in and out when they enter or exit the building. Kind of like a clocking in and out. Where the problem of people holding the door open and people not swiping the card to register their clock in out. Hi, We have one of your door entry system at the front and back of our building. When our security night shift patrol the building, the buzzer system is linked to a remote Pager, which beeps when the entry buzzer is pushed. The make of The Beeper is Ascom and it has stopped working altogether. Can you please advise me where I can order another one from and if I order another one will the link still be there between the front door and the new beeper?
