Intruder Alarms

I want a texecom control panel that can report zones triggered(names&location), users(name&number-if possible) who armed and/or disarmed the system, power failure, battery fault and siren fault. I'll be very grateful if you have or can have such a system. My clients want to get such informations(esp. Users& zones) specifically.

Hi there, We purchased the above system sometime ago and have only just got around to installing it! On opening the bell box we were sold with it , it is a hardwired version. I have checked the install manual which only refers to a remote bellbox. Can you tell me which models would be compatible with our system that are available and how much they cost from your company + the postage costs. I dont suppose we can hardwire the one we have got which is a Texecom external sounder and strobe? Thank you for your help

I need to buy one of the Texecom Premier Elite alarm panels (plastic case) and wanted to know if they have the latest Firmware v4.02 on them. My current Premier Elite 24 met with a slight accident after a mains power surge and it's destroyed it, so I want to replace it with an identical model. It will be much easier to replace and I have just wallpapered around two remote keypads. If I order Tuesday, is there any way of getting one before Saturday to a CH43 post code? I have dual sounders outside (front and back) and don't want to annoy the neighbours any more, so will have to replace it at the weekend. Hi - my Visonic Keypad is an MKP - 150 and I think it is dead. The Green lights are on but when I arm or disarm the system no noise comes from the Kepad itself and no Red light shows - nor an amber light for "trouble"I am sure it is powered by mains so do you think it is "dead?

can any body advise i need a sensor to cover a gateway to either make or break a contact when somthing or some one breaks the beam the problem is its a 30m gap and i can only get a cable to one side so it has to be reflective or single beam i can get plenty that do 10 meters but cant find any the do 30meters and fed from one side only does any one have any idea makes model cheers nick

Hi in looking for an intruder alarm system, I want to install it across a 30 meter doorway in a shed on a farm. I think a break beam system would be the most appropriate system. The doorways are unsecured in any other way, there is no door to close across the opening. I would need an alarm that could be heard up,to 750 meters away Thansk

will a Texecom premier elite RKP Model number DBD-0129 Work on a ADE Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen 4 control panel ? As i have 3 lcd RKP at the moment, and i want to up grade them.

I ordered 6 ea. Optex 15m x 15m, Digital Quad Zone Logic(78 zones), Plug-in EOL. However the Plug in EOLs were not included. Do I need to order them as An extra? Could you please help me?

We have purchased 4 x Texecom 3D PETWISE and 4 x Texecom 3D Quad PIRs (order number 22362) and we are in the process of installing the PIRs. All the PETWISE PIRs are working fine but only 1 out of 4 3D Quad PIRs are working. The 3 3D Quads don't have the LED lighting up when 12V DC power was applied. The LED jumper is ON but none of the 3 works. 3 failures out of 4 is pretty poor quality control. One of the three failed 3D PIRs bodies has been installed on the wall. Please advise if there is anything else that we need to check before returning them for warranty replacement.

Hello At present I have a hired alarm system (in Sweden) from Honeywell, the main central is a CMI8NE-SDI4G (with mobile as well as wired telephone connection) I will not renew the rental agreement when it ends soon, hence the CMI8NE-SDI4G will be returned to the company. All other Items such as one keypad (CSK8NE-SDI-, two smoke detectors (DTO600HF-, one PIR (IRX800HFCT- and one magnetic switch (DOD800HF- will stay as my property. I will like to buy a new main central and have found a CMI8UK-STD, will this be compatible with the items mentioned above, and can it all be programmed by using a TCU2-800 mobile keypad? Flemming

I have recently purchased a Menvier SD3 dialler from you to use with a Honeywell GD4 Accenta alarm system. My electrician has successfully configured the Accenta Alarm outputs to work correctly with the SD3 dialler (texting and calling fine), but is having some trouble workling out how to connect the SD3 outputs as required as the manual does not give a great deal of info. I understand that the outputs are open collector and therefore will need a suitable relay to provide a clean switch. Can you please recommend any particular relay modules (boards) for connection of the following outputs: 1 - To control heating system on/off 2 - Wired back to Accenta panel as Panic …

We have a scantronic 9448 alarm system and have recently had a new front door fitted. The original door was solid wood and had a door sensor fitted into the top of the door. Our new door is upvc and we require a flush fitting sensor which can be connected to the existing wiring. Please advise on which item we should select.

Hi, i need help deciding between a PowerMax + (Visonic) or the Scantronic 9751-EN-00 55K for a 5 bedroom house. I need a 5 PIR, 8-10 shock sensors and 1 door contact with a wired outside bell, with a dial out facility. I also want to be able to hardwire the system to the garage later on. Hi, I need support with my powermax plus control panel, I have had my system working fine for around 11 months. I am having trouble disarming the system with the panels keypad, i get to 3 digits and then it just beeps. I have changed the code and it is still happening. All the buttons seem to work fine and i can disarm ok with the keyfob. Can you provide a solution or where i need to go for help? Or do i need a replacement panel?Many Thanks

Hello, I have purchased a CQR 3/8 Flush Contact 1 RD 4 Wire White, but it does not work on my door. Most probably, it's because the gap est too large and the metal door interfere with the contact detection. I am looking buying a new flush contact. Which one do you recommand? You have so many. The installation environnement is: metalic door, large gap (difficult to measure, probably at least 10mm), if possible a contact with direct wiring. Looking forward your answer
