  1. Was wondering if anybody has detail for the Scantronic Plug-in footprint used by the 960? I wanted to hook this speech dialer up to an alarm that does not have the Scantronic footprint. If I could get hold of the spec for the two connectors of the 960 I could then jury rig a connector (or spade terminals) to tease out the 4 standard triggers as well as the line fail signal. I could also take care of any other inputs that need to be dealt with. Any ideas? I've done an extensive web search for detail of the footprint but have not found anything. Thanks John
  2. Can anyone offer advice on programming the advanced modes of this dialer? I want to enable the option that modifies the dial out sequence such that each of the 4 numbers are dialled once in turn (default mode is for No.1 to be dialled 15 times before moving to No.2) The operation/introduction section of the manual suggests that this option is available, however I can't find the appropriate advanced programming mode/code for this option. Any advice would be appreciated Regards and TIA John
  3. OK, I've finally sussed this one out, stumbled upon the answer the other day. A footnote on one of the back pages explains that AC fail events are only reported in the log if the condition persists for longer than 15-18 minutes (time chosen at random it says in the manual). John
  4. Having just commissioned a 9651 I've been testing out event logging for the system. I isolated the mains supply, hopping to invoke a mains fail alert. The RKP recorded the event properly, but interrogation of the event log showed no mains fail alerts. I carried out this mains fail test for both set and unset modes with the same result. Do I have to enable logging for this type of event somehow, or should it be enabled automatically? Or perhaps there's a timer on mains fail events and I didn't leave the mains off long enough? Any ideas? thanks John
  5. Hello, Is it possible to purchase ceiling brackets for this PIR from Security Warehouse? The bracket required is the EB1 (Pyronix part FP01210). I can't seem to find anywhere to purchase these as a seperate item. Thanks John
  6. thanks for the quick response Secware_Tech6. I had sent off a couple of questions over email (not heard back yet) but perhaps you could clear them up online for me also please? 1) Pyronix ME Q Blue 12m PIR: Is this 6 wire? Does it support ceiling mounting? 2)Scantronic 420 PASSIVE DETECTOR: Is this 6 wire? Does it support ceiling mounting? 3) Pyronix Belle Backplate Only Does this unit incorporate strobes or is it sounder only? Thanks John
  7. What battery do you recommend for this combination? Does the 9651EN-43 include a speaker? If not can you recommend one? Thanks John
