Good morning I wondered if you could help, we have fitted a ali door to a business which has a Chubb alarm system, and the Chubb engineer has said the below. "The lock or keep needs to have an integral micro switch contact on it to provide electrical connections. Giving common, normally open and normally closed options for the connection onto the alarm" I could really use some help with this from someone who knows, I do have pictures of the door if i can send them across to you. Wondered if you had i stock or could get what i need, Thank you

Do you sell both MCT-302 and MCT-302T? The information in the text on the site talks about both items but in the end it is indicated that you only sell MCT-302. Is this correct?

Hi, I\\\'m after a reliable wireless system, 5 zones down stairs one of which is a gargae, 1 zone upstairs but a pir would not be suitable in this area. The sounds to be wireless operated but mains powered. I\\\'d prefer a keypad activation & deactivation. Also is there a posibility it can notfiy you via text if your alarm is going off.

Having just been burgled I have purchased a KX15DATM pir from you to replace a failing unit from a different manufacturer. The existing unit is connected via 6 cables - 2x Tamper, 2x Relay and 2x 12v. Do you know what connectors the cables need to be screwed into on the KX15 please? I may also have to change some of the dip switches? The control panel is an Accenta 8.

Hello I need to replace an wireless siren MCS-710 with a new model MCS-730/740. The control panel is a PowerMax Plus SN:15408.9BA2 JS700611 V3.4.08. Can you confirm that the MCS-730 and or MCS-740 are compatibile?

Hi, I hope somebody can shed a light on this fault I have on the Texecom Excel panel. Installed this on Saturday but Zone 6 keeps triggering after being armed after a few minutes. Checked the Pir and that seems OK. So removed the Pir in circuit and strapped a 10K resister in Z6 but still activates after a few minutes. Is there a simple solution to this or a faulty panel. All other zones are working good. Using EOL method. Thanks in advance.

Can anyone recomend an alarm system that will notify by text message for alarm triggers including set/unset (ie access to the premise) I currently mainly fit texecom products and have used voice diallers regularly but a client now wants that bit more! Any advice welcome Thanks

texecom odyssey bell box appears to be faulty, I have checked the voltages and the tamper circuit but the bell is active constantly. Is there anything that can be done about this?

I am looking to upgrade my scantronics 9800 alarm system to remote control arm and disarm. I want to keep my exiting pir's and door contact and outside siren/ strobe box. Also I would like to keep the option of the keypad as well. I was looking at the LGSIX/01 unit. Will this unit do what I want. Also do you do any other remote control units that will work with this unit.

Hey, My old ademco accord has stopped working due to the transformer being broken. I am now looking to install a new system myself using existing wiring etc, but I'm not sure what system would be most suited and easiest to install. I am thinking of either Texecom VERITAS R8 or the Scantronic 9448. Any advice, tips or help would be appreciated. Ta.

Was wondering if anybody has detail for the Scantronic Plug-in footprint used by the 960? I wanted to hook this speech dialer up to an alarm that does not have the Scantronic footprint. If I could get hold of the spec for the two connectors of the 960 I could then jury rig a connector (or spade terminals) to tease out the 4 standard triggers as well as the line fail signal. I could also take care of any other inputs that need to be dealt with. Any ideas? I've done an extensive web search for detail of the footprint but have not found anything. Thanks John

Hi I want to add a magnetic lock that released when the panel is unset. I see there are 2 outputs on the Premier 48 both that can take 1A but this seems alot. is it really ok to wire directly on to the pannel without needing a relay. Im thinking of running the SSP Mini Magnetic Lock unmonitored on the door conserned. if I do need a relay do you have a prepackaged one with power supply etc? Any help apprecated. Rob

I am about to order the Scantronic Homelink 55 from your site but have a couple of questions... Can I add an extra keypad with prox reader? The description of the Homelink mentions only the 9940 and 41 but they are no longer available I think? Will the Scantronic PIR's (wired types) work OK with the system, as I only need wireless contacts for the doors, all other sensors will be wired? Any recommendations for a suitable external sounder?

My system is showing a fault "Telecommand Batt Low" which refers to the 723r Telecmmand remote setting device. I have changed the batteries in the 3 telecommand devices I have however the system continues to show the error. I have moved the system into Engineer mode and it will not now exit. Going through the command set to exit Engineer Mode ie 99 tick, the systems goes through the "checking system bus" bit ok and after agreeing to "exit eng" the unit starts the "Checking System" routine and then flags up the "Telecommand Batt Low" problem again and will exit the Engineer Mode. How do I get out of this, as I say I have put new batteries in the remotes but this does not …

What is the best course of action - I have a Homelink ( Scantronic) 75 Security System installed over 3 yrs ( the installers have gone bust and I cannot therefore get the original installers to maintain system) Over the last 6 months the system as gone down specifically - the passives batteries. Can I simply replace batteries with lithium AA cell batteries will this restore the system to normal functuality at the control panel or does the new batteries mean a total reset? Hi I am looking for an alarm for a workshop/shed, 1 opening window, 1 fixed window and double doors. I have used Scantronic previously and therefore would like the following:- Scantronic 9448, with 2 contact switches, a glass break sensor, Elmdene INT400 and a battery. (I have avoided PIR\\\'s because of false alarms) Could you advise if this is suitable or are there better options, please advise battery type for above.

Please could you tell me the replacement for the Scantronic 4600r wireless burglar alarm system? I'm not sure if my control box is faulty (although there is a significant chance that this is the case) or if one of the window/door vipers is faulty, but my system is 13 years old, and I think it may need to be changed.

Hello can anyone help,on entering the building after the alarm has been set there is no exit entry timers sounding ,and the externel bell box triggers,zone 2 which is in the path to the rkp is set as access.

I bought from yourselves about 2 years ago an Optima Compact Gen 4. following a burglary my insurance co are now insisting my alarm meets the above standards. Does this panel meet the above standard's, if not can you suggest one that does.

Hi, with the Visonic Powermaster 33 if I fit the GSM module what functionality do you have through the app, or do you need to subscribe to the monitoring program to gain the app functionality. Also what type of sim is required, will it work with a G4 network or does it as with other alarms only work with the older G2 networks? Thanks
