Please can you help me to fix some package with all things I need for that, and the system should be used in Sweden. I wounder if it's possible and compatibly to bay and use 4 pce of "Secware Pro Bullet IR 700TVL effio-E Camer…

I need to setup a camera focused on one specific cabinet in a bar. The camera needs to be activated when somebody opens that cabinet and shut off when it gets closed or 30 seconds after closing. I have a few cctv cameras already (from a different application and now un-used) but no DVR. I was wondering if there was some sort of wireless magnetic relay activation that could be used with a PC running some sort of recording software. I'm looking for ideas at this point since motion activation of the camera would be ludicrous. I'd be going through 18 hours of video a day to try and find the right 15 seconds. Unfortunately, the location of the cabinet precludes cables to it. A…

Please could you advise/recommend a simple set up that would meet my customers needs. I require a housed camera that can simply read car number plates in day and night at a distance of 15-20m or so. A DVR (no CD writer required) to record just the one channel perhaps a USB interface to transfer film to archive. Then finally a TFT flat screen 13/14 inch nothing expensive. This set up is simply to cover entrance/exit to a yard! Thanks for your help

Hi, I am considering purchase of 2 or 3 Axis 207 cameras. I need to be able to view the images on a single web page and set a feature to record if triggered by motion detection at certain times (ie after 6pm). Please could you advise if I will require additional software of any kind and also what is the light level 0.5lux? I nderstand this is low but can you give me some idea of just how dark this is? Many thanks Dan.

This is not a complaint just a question, we bought 2 different types of camera's from you, which we thought would pick up number plates on cars, unfortunately neither camera does this, is this because the camera's are not powerful enough, or do you need to move them very close to the object that you are trying to identify at the moment they positioned just below the gutters all around the house, with the drive being only a matter of about 12 feet away from this particular camera. The other thing is, the 2 bullet camera's do not give as clear a picture as the cheaper dome camera's overall the camera's are good but just don't pick up the details as …

I am trying to create my own camera system, i counted that i will need approx. 20 - 30 camera's to monitor my premises. Since i want to create the system on my own, i am looking for some good IP Cams with IR and Ethernet. I was thinking to use Zoneminder as the DVR software so the cameras should be supported by it. The camera should be able to recognize faces in the dark but there is no need for PTZ since they will be static. I want to create the DVR with Zoneminder because of the limitations with branded DVR's or do you sell good open source Linux based DVRs ?

I am trying to find a suitable PIR detector which will trigger the alarm input on the Axis camera. 1) Is the Optex EX-35T a suitable PIR for this and would I also need the Optex Wall bracket to mount onto a wall? 2) Also, presumably this Optex PIR would need to be wired to a power socket and to the alarm input of the camera directly. Is there a PIR detector which runs on batteries and also transmits to a receiver which could then trigger the alarm input of the camera i.e. so I could have the PIR detector outside free of wires, and the camera inside triggered by a receiver powered by mains electricity?

I'd like a little advice on a wireless door sensor. I have an installed system of a few cameras, I would like to introduce a wireless sensor to detect when a gate is opened. I have installed an IP CCTV system which includes an I/O device that I am using to manage some PIR detectors. I have a spare input in the device (it detects a NO or NC circuit) and I would like to use that to detect when the gate is opened, but there is no possibility of running alarm cable. Do you sell a wireless product that I could install? I presume it would be a 2 part device, one which detects a change in the state of the door sensor to disrupt or complete a circuit, and the sensor itself.

Hi, I have experience with ZM so I'll use that as my recording/detecting, question I'd like to know which is the best mid range day/night vision IP camera which I'm hoping will be wireless have do you sell most of ? I'd like to be able to control up/down/left/right so I'm guessing it will be a PTZ (haven't much camera experince as I've only used an AXIS 206 IP wired camera) Or what would be your ideal way of setting this up i.e I have computer with ZM installed now need a hopefully discrete camera. I know I've been pretty vague but hopefully will get there. Thanks for any pointers.

Please advise on CCTV camera to mount behind glass (e.g. lounge window)? It must perform using inbuilt IR (if possible), or satisfactorily when external security lights activated at night but, essentially, a Day & Night Camera. It may be :- WiFi or Hardwired; Movement activated or permanently operational; Compatible with 'common' CCTV Systems currently available; Thank you for your consideration,

I'm currently running Ubuntu Linux on my laptop and would like to know which security cameras or kits are compatible with my system. I'm looking at both wired and wireless options. I want a 4 channel system that I can monitor from a web browser or "zonealarm." The control unit or transceiver should be able to connect to my laptop through usb or WiFi.
