I am trying to create my own camera system, i counted that i will need approx. 20 - 30 camera's to monitor my premises.

Since i want to create the system on my own, i am looking for some good IP Cams with IR and Ethernet.

 

I was thinking to use Zoneminder as the DVR software so the cameras should be supported by it.

 

The camera should be able to recognize faces in the dark but there is no need for PTZ since they will be static.

I want to create the DVR with Zoneminder because of the limitations with branded DVR's or do you sell good open source Linux based DVRs ?
