How do you loop wire two Honeywell Intellisense IS215TCE PIRs into one zone when using a ADE Honeywell Accenta Metal Gen4 control panel?

Please could you advise/recommend a simple set up that would meet my customers needs. I require a housed camera that can simply read car number plates in day and night at a distance of 15-20m or so. A DVR (no CD writer required) to record just the one channel perhaps a USB interface to transfer film to archive. Then finally a TFT flat screen 13/14 inch nothing expensive. This set up is simply to cover entrance/exit to a yard! Thanks for your help

In november i bought a texecom bell box off you and its just stopped working. the rest of the alarm is functioning fine. when enter the eng code, the 05,54321 to test the sounders everything except the bell box works. it was working fine, so could i return it please unless you can suggest something to try? all the wires inside are firmly connected.

I ALREADY HAVE A VERITAS 8C SECURITY PANEL FITTED AND EVERYTHING WORKS FINE APART FROM THE BUTTONS. THE NUMBERS HAVE ALMOST RUBBED OFF AND SOME BUTTONS ARE NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY WHEN BEING PRESSED. MY QUESTION IS ...IF I PURCHASE A NEW VERITAS 8C PANEL FROM YOU CAN I USE THE FRONT PART OF THE NEW PANEL TOGETHER WITH THE BUTTONS TO REPLACE THE OLD FRONT.

Hello. Interested in installing an alarm system. Such as Electronics Line Infinite Wireless Kit can you tell me if i can change options and replace the PIRs for Door Connectors? Does the external box sound and is this wireless too? Basically what I want is wireless system, 4 Door connectors, outside box, GSM to alert of event.

I have purchased the Powermax+ from you last year. Am redoing the electrics in my place and rolling electrics to my cabin. Was wondering how I can connect my cabin to this alarm. Is there a way of connecting a PIR via a cable?

My elderly mother lives in a sheltered accomodation flat link to a mutiple door phone call and entry system The phone and entry system in her flat is near the front door and a long walk ( for her ) from the lounge Is a remote control possible that she could have near her in the lounge and whart would happen to the current one which she wants to keep Or is there another alternative please She has recently had a fall and getting up fom the lounge etc is a problem

I am replacing my old alarm system. I have done some research and it appears Scantronic are a good make in terms of functionality and reliability and come recomended from a colleague who has installed them previously. I have a wired sounder at present and want to maintain the wired asoect if possible. I'm looking at: i-on16 Control Panel (1) 714 Wireless PIR (6) Wireless door contacts - brown (2) Compatible wired sounder or the wireless one for i-on16 Please advise if the above are all compatable and what is my best option for a sounder. Also would the wireless PIR work in my detached garage? It's approximately10 metres from the control panel location.

Just instaled the panel, remote key pad and sounder and pirs. Firstly the instructions didn't match the sounder terminals with the panel but I think I may have sorted it know but the proble I have is as soon as I connect the sounder battery jumper the sounder goes off this happens with the panel wired and powered on fully disconnected from the panel. I have the system up and running if I put itI into alarm I get nothing from the main sounder sound or strobe but the sounder in the remote key pad sounds Please can you help?

Thanks for your reply (24.5.10). I've been away since. Yes the autodialler is an SD+ (UK) mod 2011cMAR09. I still cannot progress beyond creating a 'NEWCODE'. Here are some things I have tried. Programming telephone numbers. Manual says- From READY press ENT. Unit will display ENT1-4 or O-C. My unit.- From READY press ENT. Unit still displays READY.! When pressing 1, unit displays ENT 1-4 (fixed display) When pressing 1 again, unit displays TELE No 1 (display moving from right to left). This is not as it should be,is it? When using Quick Ref. Advanced Options. From READY and pressing either 4 to 9, all codes read as per the manual. Hope you can understand somthing of my problem!

I also believe the GJD system would be the best. Would you recommend the 2 zone solitaire and just not connect any lights up to it and use it for triggering the sounders? If so are they in stock? What sounders would you use externally?

I recently purchased from you a Solitaire 4 zone controller with relevant PIR's etc. My customer then wanted a buzzer for each zone to sounder should anyone approach the property, I wired this in to complete the job. Now he has requested a similar install for a friend of his. Having looked at the property, they simply have a front & rear to protect. Currently there is a standalone 500w pir flood to front & rear and all the customer wants is an external audible warning when someone approachs to try to deter possible burglars. Can you suggest a simply system?

Unfortunately, I have bigger problems now than before! I tried to de-register the Internal Sounder before sending it back to you (otherwise the system won't set without errors). Unfortunately, after doing this and exiting programming mode, the remote keypad started downloading from the main control panel (as normal) but then stated 'DOWNLOAD INTERRUPTED - RETRY'. Despite switching off everything that had an RF signal (wireless internet, cordless phones) this problem persisted, ie keypad starts downloading and then about 1 minute later shows this error. Attempts to re-enter programming mode also failed (i.e, pressing and holding the tamper for 3-5 seconds, then pressing P button on back of remote keypad) - the keypad just showed the message 'END PROGRAMMING PLEASE WAIT' for couple of seconds, and then 'WAITING FOR CONNECTION' endlessely. Repeating the process to enter programming mode from here also did not work. Also tried, on the advise of Honeywell Technical support (Martin Bolen), to remove the battery from the remote keypad (earthing the terminals to fully discharge), and remove the mains & backup-battery power from the control panel, and then retrying. Still the same problem. Honeywell Technical support could not think of anything else to try, and decided either the keypad or the panel was faulty, and to return both! If anyone can think of another thing to try, I will, but to be honest, I've spent so many hours trying to get this system fixed and working with little/no success, I just want to return the whole thing to yourselves / Honeywell for a full refund, and start again with a different kit.

Would you be able to stock the klaxon H sires value back plate and covers as i have been using this type of external sounder. I would normally order 40 - 50 covers at a time which would be screen printed for free and 20 live plates is this something that you could arrange?
