I have a playcentre which has the Videx ART836M external unit and two internal phones. The ambient noise within the playcentre is loud therefore the external call cannot be heard and we are losing business, as people cannot gain access to the centre. I would like to add two internal sounders (one beside each handset to boost the call signal when the external button is pressed, in addition when we pick up the internal phones the reception to external is poor. Please advise as soon as possible.

Please could you advise if the targha BPT audio intercom with keypad system would work with any electromagnetic lock and exit button device? Also, I am rather ignorant on these systems, is the double electromagnetic systems shown on your website used for double doors? If so, we have a leading gate for pedestrians if the non leading gate is held by a ground bolt will this work? Thanks

I have been asked to source a replacement for a damaged BPT video intercom. ONce stripped the circuit board had the serial number VZ 110 and the video camera VT 100. The panel itself looks longer than anything in the present BPT range. Does anyone know of a direct replacement for this panel which is about 12" high. The reason I ask is that it has been mounted in a welded housing and would be a lot of work to retro fit with something else.

We are currently looking for a door access control system that manages one door, both entry and exit. It would need to be able to connect to a computer so that staff entry/exit times could be monitored. I have found this on your site: http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1191¤cy=GBP Would this fit our needs as the description on the page is a tad vague. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I have a Honeywell GD48 intruder panel and want to start using door control access. I think i need a Honeywell C080 DCM so that should be fine and so I am seeking recommendations on an electronic door lock as well as a good quality Wiegand 8bit keypad for external mounting. Background to request: I have a son who 'forgets' to lock the door manually when he goes out so i am wanting to replace the lock with an electronic one which is connected to my Honeywell Dimension GD48 and to force my son to either gain entry by the wiegand keypad or by using his lock key(is there a dual lock solution where either physical key or entry through keypad is possible?). …

I have a requirement to install an access control system on the door to a Gym. I need to be able to open the door from 10am to 4pm but at all other times the card would be required. I have looked at the ACT prox 5 and the paxton compact vandal resistant but cant see how i can open the door for the required times. I plan on using a yale lock and a release and wonder if i need to use an exit button when my members can just open the lock? Am i missing something here? I dont want to spend a fortune but i need something reliable and easy to manage Thanks Geoff

can you give me the dimensions for the above lock? Is the .9 amp a peak current as il be using the 1 amp elmdene supply? Also is it designed for recessing like normal solenoid locks (ie not a magnetic lock which is bulky) I want to recess it into door frame directly above door centre.
