can you give me the dimensions for the above lock? Is the .9 amp a peak current as il be using the 1 amp elmdene supply? Also is it designed for recessing like normal solenoid locks (ie not a magnetic lock which is bulky) I want to recess it into door frame directly above door centre.

A customer of ours has purchased a Videx 837-1 unit recently following the failure of the microphone in the Videx gate unit which turned out to be an 836-1. Is it possible to use this 837-1 unit as a replacement for the 836-1 or can you supply an 836-1, or compatible, unit.

Before I order the above product, I am just wondering if the handset will work with all Videx systems. I want to provide an extra handset for one my elderly patients who already has a Videx system installed. I need to ensure this handset works with her current system before ordering.

I want to replace a white plastic audio handset in my hallway which controls outside gates. I have called BPT and they have told me that the replacement in their range is the Lynea YC200. However this does not look good. Ideally i am looking for some "stainless steel" finish or something a bit more modern.I do not want to replace the complete system. Is there a handset or panel that is more modern that is compatible with the BPT system?

Hello. I'm after a low cost proximity tag / keyfob access control system. I need to control a single main door to the premises and have people "swipe" in and out (so a reader each side of the door). The system needs to know who is in the building so that a roll call can be generated in the event of a fire alarm. I believe the ACTpro series might be able to do this? I'm unsure though exactly which controller I'd need to go for as I don't want to spend more than necessary.

I am an NHS Occupational Therapist working in North London and have a patient who needs an extension of her current system as she is unable to reach the handset already in her flat. I was called out to a small block of flats last week where the entry phone system is not working - fault appears to be microphone at the main door as everything else works fine. It is an art 832.0 4+1 I believe. Just need some help identifying and sourcing a replacement part. Regards

i have been looking on your website at the videx access systems and am struggling in working out what i can buy to add to my system to make the system work better for us. I currently have an 800 one button/ amp module in a surface mounted frame, this is connected to two phones on different floors in the building which allows us to unlock the door. We have recently ordered the 3K1S from your online store. We then noticed the next item (3K1S-DC). I think we may of needed to order the last item. Could you explain the difference? It would appear to be a different PSU supplied? We just need a wall mountable PSU to power the Videx door intercom and also a door release. I assume the item we have ordered is for a DIN rail and we just need a wall mountable PSU?
