Hi, I'm trying to source a system for a mostly vacant property I own. Must have GSM ability, preferably with remote antenna, as most networks arent great. Minimum requirements for now 3 x PIR ( prefer wired ) 2 x Smokes ( prefer wired ) 2 x External siren/strobe ( wired ) 2 x Internal siren ( I want it to be loud inside ) Battery backup Most GSM systems seem to offer control via the mobile ? that would be handy. Also, although this is not a permanent install for now, I want the panel to be future proof. With perhaps addition of automatic-gates via mobile along with more PIR's and door contacts. I just bought a SPC4320, SPCN310, SPCK623. The read me first datasheet tells: " you must ensure the peripheral firmware revision is the same as, or greater than the firmware revision of the SPC controller". On my SPC4320 controller, the firmware is V3.4.5. What must the firmware version for the SPCN310 and SPCK623? I tell this question because, the SPCN310 is in fault (error code E51) and the SPCK doesn't make voice annuniciation. What does error code E51 means? Thanks in advance SM

Hi, thinking of using the Texecom Speech and Text dialler with an Aico Ei428 relay on a smoke alarm system, the not received relay yet, but sales literature of relay says it has Volt free relay contacts, can be configured to switch up to 230V, would this dialler work with it? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Hi there, I have just moved to a new house with an old Sterling 10 alarm system with 2 PIRs, it works but the keypad is very worn and I have no idea how to program it. I was thinking of getting the Euro mini keypad to replace just the keypad, see attached image with wiring. Will this work?

Just reduced the volume on the keypad by pressing and holding D then typing code 2000 to get into keypad menu. Adjusted to volume 1 and the sound reduce as this was completed. Pressed A to save and exit but keypad is frozen and no button works now. I can’t reset using numbers, proximity tag, key fob or app as access is denied. Need advice as to get the alarm working again. Help please.

I have just moved into a house in Windsor that has a Scantronic 9454 system. The previous owner left the manual, but no other information about the system. Can you tell me whether Scantronics is still in business? If they are not, has anyone taken over servicing their installations? If so, would it be possible to arrange an engineer to visit to reset the system and enable us to use it. Hope you can help.

Hi, I am looking for some help and advice with selecting an alarm system for the house I am currently renovating. It is a four bedroom house with an external garage which I would also like protecting. I would prefer a wired system as from my experiences at work, I am not fully convinced of the reliability of wireless technology! Accenta G4 mini from you. Connected it up and fully tested including under alarm conditions. Last week I had an alarm activation which worked fine BUT the strobe will not reset. Thinking I had a faulty siren I bought a Honeywell ActiveGuard AG3 from you. I powered down the panel and connected the new siren. Repowered and the strobe was immediately flashing and still won't reset! Powered down the panel and connected the siren with a short length of new cable. I bought a CQR SC570/WH Surface Contact (SC570/WH/MD/MULTI/G3) from your shop. Installation instructions are a bit unclear : to wire this contact as a single detector, it is written that one link from each row (Tamper and Switch) must be cut. But just before, they wrote that "at least" one link from each row must be cut. And there is a table which lists Texecom (I have a Texecom Premier 24 control panel) in column B. So, now I'm wondering: should I cut only column B links or should I cut all links except column B?

There is the Scantronic homelink 75 which seems to be connectable to PC via USB is there a control-software included in your package ? Hi, I had purchased a number of items from this site a while back, and just getting round to fitting. One of them was an AG6 bell box. My plan was to use this at the rear of the property to replace a dummy box, but to use the internal battery and LED to have a flashing deterrent at the rear. But I cant work out how to do this, or if its even possible? All instructions point towards needing the 12v coming from the panel, but I dont have this connection. I have installed a Powermaster 33 along with a KP 250 Keypad. After months of no problems, the keypad display is now showing "No Communication" whenever any button is pressed. There is therefore no possibility of entering Installer Mode etc.. Is it likely that the communication failure is due to the keypad, the module inside the Powermaster control box or is it possible to reset the comms between the keypad and controller somehow? I would appreciate any help in resolving this matter. Thanks in advance.
