Intruder Alarms

Hello, I just received the LCD panel, but it seems not possible to change the language as described above. Is gives me only some software version information (See attached picture), not buttons work to change the language. Is there a other way to change the language or a different sequence that I have to follow?

Trying to install Honeywell AG6 to Galaxy Flex Panel. There is no instructions for Galaxy flex, but forGalaxy 2 series it says: TR- to T (I put this to T-) V- to 0V ST- to "Any Output programmed as Bell#" V+ to +12V S- to "Any Output programmed as Bell" Both ST- and S- to output bell? Same bell output? Or how should I wire?

I have a 15 year old Eurosec system that I whish to refurbish/upgrade. A few questions: I have what looks like the CP8L remote pad - is there an better option to replace? Tag compatible? Would you advise replacing the main panel at 15yrs old? I wish to add another remote keypad (garage entrance) and a contact/PIR - best option (remote tag?) Can you recommend replacement PIRs? Is there such a thing as wireless door contact?

Hi, I have installed my first wireless le sucre PIR on my flex system. Everything went ok with pairing until next morning I get keypad message rf batlow. Result: I am on my 3rd battery in 3 days!! So I have changed old PIR removed serial and paired new PIR with the panel and I can see the new serial No. in th RF intruder zone (signal strength is good menu 21). When I do a walk test I get no result from the RF zone. If I activate tamper the panel registers it. When I walk pass the sensor I get 2 long flashes then when I move after that I just get 2 short flashes. I thougth that wireless PIRs do not flash after warm up unless the alarm is set? Hi, I installed risco cpx with novaguard 2 years ago, would anyone know what onboard battery (nimh I dthink)oes novaguard 6 comes with?is it 6v or 8.4 volts?my cpx panel is asking me this. The reason I am asking is because in logs I get Nov 1 chg(ma) Hi and Nov 1 on-chg Hi even though all the parameters are correct,not sure if this could be to do with me not setting the correct battery volts. the error in logs have been there since day 1 but last last I had a false alarm and in log it said " external bell tamper" and I want to just rule the volt setting out. Some say that you should avoid to direct detectors against windows. Is that correct? I´m going to use Bosch Blue Line Gen 2 Pet Friendly detectors. But maybe I don´t use the pet-mode, beacuse I don´t need to do it right now. But if it do it safer against false alarms, pointing detector againt windows, I will.

Looking for a shock sensor. I have an isolated gantry with access stairway. Trying to identify if there is a shock sensor / virbration sensor that can be placed on the metal structure that will send alarm when detection noted. Do you have a device that will perform in this manner

how do i clear an error - it states z03 alarmed - living room and says 'alarm in memory'. i also have a s01 tamper/open error [its the back pin i think - box is fixed back to pebble dash wall and the pins clearly not pushed in.] - not sure if it can be adjusted - instructions arent that clear... if i sort out the external box, will this then clear the issue/problem i have with the living room and allow me to set the alarm??

I have a GC Simon wireless alarm system (model: 60-911-010-4-IE) and one of my door sensors has developed a problem and needs to be replaced. However I am having great difficulty in sourcing a suitable replacement. I did by a recommended replacement from the USA but this did not work. I think because the system I have is 433Mhz and the new sensor was 319Mhz. Can you recommend a replacement sensor and where I may purchase same. Thanks in advance and regards

My new house was pre-wired for a hard wired alarm which I planned to fit myself. The guy who run the cabling did a good job except he did not wire for contacts on the doors. There is no chance to wire them now as I cannot run cables thrugh the dry wall panels. My solution I think is something like a Homelink 55 I will have 6 PIR, three door contacts, and two RKP's as I have a point upstairs for night setting the system. Can I add a second 9943 RKP to the Homelink 55 ? The Homelink 55 has 6 wired zones which would cover the PIR's. I hope I could use wireless contacts for the rest. Prox tags would also be a nice addition. Grateful for any advic…

You advertise the Scantronic 430, is this compatible with the 9450 panel. Also I wanted to install a dialler but it seems that you are out of stock of all diallers. If there is one that is compatible with my control panel could you please let me know. Also I would like a clue as to how to wire up the dialler to my panel.

Hi, I am trying to connect an AG6 sounder to an ADE Logic 6 panel (supplied by you) but the instructions supplied by both units are not clear and the AG6 instructions do not even conform to the suppied unit. The Logic 6 panel connections are - strobe - strobe + scb T scb A bell+ D bell- B The sounder AGL connections are - ST- R- SW- V+ V- Can you please advise how these should be connected

I'm look for some shock sensors (to be fitted to window frames) preferably wired and that work with DSC PC range. I was looking at the Aritech GS612 but I've not had much joy with it albeit the door sensor with magnet works fine.

I have a Simon3 alarm 433mhz and was wondering if your advertised sensor (Risco wisdom wireless door sensor 433mhz sensor)will work as a replacement and should the simon3 alarm learn this new sensor?

My keypad has given up the ghost with some butons not working so I cannot disable the alarm with the code. I've taken off the keypad and it has 4 wires connected. It looks very simple to replace so is it simply a case of buying a replacement and installing in the same manner? When I reconnect the power and the alarm starts going, I should be able to enter my code and all is back to normal? Or is it more complicated than that? I've been quoted for a replacment & fitting but it seems such a simple job to do yourself. Do I need to be aware of anything else?

Please can you clarify whether it is possible to have the Receiver and the Transmitter running on/from different power supplies. We have asituation where the alarm power supply cannot be supplied to the transmitter but can be to the receiver, so in theory it will function. If it is possible, do you have such a power supply - we assume a plug in transformer will do.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me decide on a simple & effective alarm system. What I need is listed below. 1) 1 door contact 2) Minimum 2 PIR's (wired or not) 3) Key fob to de/activate alarm 4) Some sort of notification on activation (email, text/call) 5) camera that can record images/video when there is motion and the ability to send the images to a phone AND be viewable over the internet Ideally, I'd like the system to be controllable remotely and have as little wiring as possible. I have a Scantronic 9651 bought from you a few years ago. It's worked fine till the PA alarmed the other morning for no reason - i.e. it wasn't pressed. I put a new battery in it Feb 2014, probably the last time I opened it up. When I put the engineer's code in, in order to open up the PA to check it, rather than going into engineer mode it said "User code reqd". Odd?! Anyway, I then put the User Code in and it said "Set". This is not normal behaviour - any ideas? Thanks,

i have a client with a texecom 48 and wants some smoke detectors now some people say run alarm cable but i would of thought it be better to use the red fire rated cable?
