  1. Just what I heard, but does anyone have a confirmed false alarm due a detector directed towards a window? Or is it an old tale? Perhaps a truth that was long ago? Today's detectors are perhaps more advanced and can be directed towards the window.
  2. Some say that you should avoid to direct detectors against windows. Is that correct? I´m going to use Bosch Blue Line Gen 2 Pet Friendly detectors. But maybe I don´t use the pet-mode, beacuse I don´t need to do it right now. But if it do it safer against false alarms, pointing detector againt windows, I will.
  3. Ok, and S- still to OP "Bell" I suppose. I have a simple 2-cable internal sounder connected to bell (and+12V). I guess I can use same bell-output. Thanks for answer
  4. Trying to install Honeywell AG6 to Galaxy Flex Panel. There is no instructions for Galaxy flex, but forGalaxy 2 series it says: TR- to T (I put this to T-) V- to 0V ST- to "Any Output programmed as Bell#" V+ to +12V S- to "Any Output programmed as Bell" Both ST- and S- to output bell? Same bell output? Or how should I wire?
  5. You where right, the keypad was not closed. Thanks!
  6. I removed RIO with detector, so Keypad MK8 became in the end of the daisy chain. The keypad error disappeared. But I think it was the tamper in the keypad that was the fault. Or must the keypad be in the end of the daisy chain? Now there is a power fault, so I better get a battery.
  7. When trying to leave engineer mode keypad says: CHECKING FOR TAMPERS 1 mod tampers KEYPAD 010 So I can´t leave engineer mode. There is no battery installed in central panel. Connection is: RIO (nothing connected yet) - Central Panel - Keypad MK8 - RIO (with 1 detector) 1. What is wrong? 2. Maual says 10 Ah and 17 Ah battery. Is it ok tu usa a 7 Ah battery?
