Some say that you should avoid to direct detectors against windows.

Is that correct?

I´m going to use Bosch Blue Line Gen 2 Pet Friendly detectors.

But maybe I don´t use the pet-mode, beacuse I don´t need to do it right now.

But if it do it safer against false alarms, pointing detector againt windows, I will.

    Just what I heard, but does anyone have a confirmed false alarm due a detector directed towards a window? Or is it an old tale? Perhaps a truth that was long ago? Today's detectors are perhaps more advanced and can be directed towards the window.
