Intruder Alarms

Item Scantronic 9651UK with 9941 keypad. I installed this control unit to replace another 9651 unit which had developed a fault. After installation I tried to exit the 'Installer Mode' and the unit reported 'Zone Flt' on zones Z01 through Z08 and the Service LED is permanently illuminated. I have checked power to the Ziper intruder detectors and circuit continuity for the FSLs and they seem to be OK. I did notice that the 9651 unit had a manufacturer's date of Jan 05, so it seems to have been in storage for some considerable time but that aside I would appreciate some assistance in identifying where the problem lies and if it is a defective unit, getting it swapped out.…

What is the differences between the CQR FW/GD04 Communicator (GSM) and the visonic GSM-100? Are there any other gsm-modules that are compatible with the pm+? My pm+ controlpanel is bought in sweden, will I have any problems if I buy any of the gsm-modules you have from UK? Will the sms-messages still be in swedish?

In my house I got a security system called Gardtec and i think it is Risco / Gardtec Contour LED RKP (580 series) because mine does look like this one as it is show on this website. i would like to use this security system however i cant reset the program or set it. I been looking on the internet i belive i need the engineer code or master code to reset the program but i dont have this codes. Could you please help me where or how can i get this codes to reset it or how much is it cost for engineer to come to do it for me !? Will it help if i purchase the control panel ( Risco / Gardtec Contour LED RKP (580 series) to set the program

I need to replace a couple of PIRs and am looking at some which have eol resistors built in. They will be in a circuit wired in series - just the 2 - and there is already an eol resistor wired into the circuit at the panel. Can these PIRs be switched so that they show zero resistance as I am not sure what adding extra resistance into the circuit would be handled by the very old panel.

Hi all I'm new to this forum, so please excuse my lack of technical knowledge. A couple of days ago I was moving stuff around under my staircase where I have an Alarm panel covered inside its metal casing. I'm certain I did not touch it, suddenly the house alarm went off and the Keypad panel was showing Bell fuse fault. I went ahead and replaced the bell fuse and it but it kept blowing. I had the alarm engineer who installed it come round and he disconnected all wiring to the PCB and still fuse kept blowing. I purchased 2 M12 smoke detectors from you, which I wish to use with the Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 security system. The engineers manual shows 2 wires, to a smoke detector with a relay base for output to intruder system. On the M12 do I use the 0v +12v terminals or the fire zone?

I have a speech-box with my powermax pro. No problem. But I just want to hear the internal speech-box speaker. Not the control-panel speaker that I don't want to hear. How to have only the speech-box sound ?

Hi, I have just finished fitting a Honeywell Accenta Mini G4 with LCD control panel system to my house. I have got to the point of powering the system up and setting it up. The manual says "check that the factory fitted links are connected to the terminals PA, TAMP and T-A. I have fitted it to PA, the TAMP connections are being used for the other sensors on the system, and the T-A terminals are wired to the Bell Box. I then connect the mains power and the battery. The manual says there should be an audible indication, which there is. The 'power' light on the G4 main unit illuminates. The LCD keypad lights up and displays "Accenta G4 RKP F131-01-111". hi. this dialler has been on site for a few months. originally we had a pay as you go sim card in and all worked ok. for ease for the customer we have replaced this with a contract sim card. i have checked the sim in a phone and all working fine however the dialleer will not see the sim card. i have spoken to jgd. who have advised mE. still the unit will not see the new sim

Which battery do i need to order?

I have a Menvier TS690id system and am after another keypad and ID chips. The panel will accept the ID plus chips. Do you stock a keypad that will work with this panel and do you still have id biscuits in stock. Also will your proximity tag readers be compatible with the netled/netlcd keypads already fitted as an upgrade and any new keypad you can supply for the system, if not fitted into the keypad.

I am interested in a small home alarm with following function: Hybrid base unit with backup battery and communicator that can send alarm to my cellphone trough GSM mobile phone network, working in Sweden.
