Item Scantronic 9651UK with 9941 keypad.

I installed this control unit to replace another 9651 unit which had developed a fault. After installation I tried to exit the 'Installer Mode' and the unit reported 'Zone Flt' on zones Z01 through Z08 and the Service LED is permanently illuminated. I have checked power to the Ziper intruder detectors and circuit continuity for the FSLs and they seem to be OK.

I did notice that the 9651 unit had a manufacturer's date of Jan 05, so it seems to have been in storage for some considerable time but that aside I would appreciate some assistance in identifying where the problem lies and if it is a defective unit, getting it swapped out.
