Intruder Alarms

Hello, We recently moved into a house that has a non functional wired ITEC Meridian panel (prob. 20 years old?). It has power to it but the front keypad does not respond to any key presses, and the alarm it not activated by the tamper switches on the panel door. The last occupiers never used it (over 12 years or so) and did not have any codes or manuals so I was thinking that the easiest solution would be to fit a new panel. I have programed all pir siren contacts and tcu remote but when trying to set full or part set the tcu displays operation cancelled instead of arming any ideas please

texecom prestige ir would that work with texecom excel.does it depend on eol of the control panel and the pir to work together.

Dear Sir, I am looking for a wireless intrution alarm for a family house. I would like to have features such as, remote control frorm android or ios, GSM, camera display remotely. I live in Sweden and the alarm needs to support the EU standards so that it can be connected to a local security service if the alarm goes off. Would you recommend an Kit?

I have an old ADE Ultimate (using id biscuit) Burglar alarm system. Purchased in 1993. The remote keypads are playing up. Do you have replacement remote keypads for this system or can you suggest compatible remote keypads for this system? Thanks.

My existing panel was faulty so I puchased a Risco Gartec 490x from you. I liked it beacuse it is hybrid wireless and we are having an extension built, which will make it easy to add additional movement detectors. The control panel and keypad are installed and work fine apart from one problem. I get a warning - off chg volts high / battery/fuse fault - it takes a about 30 minutes after exiting the engineer mode for the fault to register. Its a new battery (again purchased from you) and the fuses are all Ok - any ideas what I have done wrong. Also given that I am not a registered installer will Risco technical help talk to me or am I on my own. regards

I have lost the manual that came with the Accenta 6 when it was installed some years ago. The Alarm is still functioning perfectly. Is it possible to obtain a new manual?

I have installed, approx 9 years ago, a scantronic 500r.+ system and have had the remote control stolen during a break in. My fear is they will return. Is it possible replace the control box with a new one in order to make the remote U/S, Or is it possible to disable the remote. I have 4 PIRs one door sensor and a remote key pad. Sorry I have marked this high but having just lost a new car do not wish then to re-visit disble the alarm and clear the rest of the house. Thank you for your time.

We have a optima xL4 MICROPROCESSOR alarm system. This keeps going off at various times during the day. We enter the code and reset only for it to go off again. none of the sensors are lit up (they used to have a red light on them) Please can you help as we are been woken at ridculous times in the night and have 2 young children !

Hi there, If I use the Texecom Premier Impaq Plus With Built in Contact, with a Honeywell G4 alarm panel, can I use 6 core cable, or do I need to use an 8 cables to set the contacts up on zone 1, and the shock sensor up on another zone.

We have had a few enquiries about how to install a door contact to a frameless glass door. I dont currently know of a single product, as an installer it would be usual to build up the contact based on the individual door for example

Hi, have wired up system as should be, have all cct returns, bell tamper, PA and global tamper returns as should be. But on powering up all the RKP is showing is software version 4.00. Have depowered and shorted out NVM & kick start pins and tried again but just stays the same.

Hi, I installed the LCD panel yesterday. and the screen just froze a few hours after I set the alarm. The keypad was unresponsive and showing time and date on the screen. I powered the alarm off and when I reconnected it, the LCD panel was still unresponsive but the screen was showing Accenta G4 RKP F131-01-111 The keys are NOT responding. Any help? Hi i brought galaxy g2 alarm panel from your store.i am going to add second mk7 keypad to the system.according to installation menual i need to use eol 680 ohm resistor at each keypad and connect them in daisy chain. Please can you tell me what watt resistors require. thanks

I have a Cooper SD2+ connected to a system and working fine using the O2 SMS centre. I have been asked to switch this to using the BT Text service so that use can be made of the bundled free texts with the BT phone line. Not an unreasonable request. The problem is that I have tried almost every setting to get this unit to work with BT Text and have even had a BT engineering helping but to no avail. (message centre number 1470 P 17094009) Has anyone else found this to be a problem or managed to solve it? If so could you post the settings and procedure. Thanks

Require a ADE G3 Accenta Remote Control Pad that works in conjunction with a Jenko board. Would the current offering which you offer [ADE G3 - 4] that works with a Optima Board work with the Jenco board?

Hi, I'm looking to install an alarm system for a steel shed with no windows. Alarms are all very new to me so I'd appreciate some advice. What I want to achieve is: - An audible alarm activated when the door is opened. - A system that runs on mains power, but which has a battery backup of at least 2 weeks. - Preferably some way of disabling the alarm before entering the shed, avoiding the need to have a period to allow for a code/key to be used to disable the alarrm once the door is open. - Surface contact sensors on the door. I have your verutas 8 and i have just added another remote key pad, all works fine but i cant seem to get out of engineers mode, i go to program and put my new code in but when it comes to full alarm it will only respond to 4 3 2 1 any surgestions?

Do you sell the delta bell without covers? and is the Delta bell the back lit LED version.
