Intruder Alarms

i ordered and installed an ade alarm system, the customer has asked if i can clear the event log, i have looked but this is not shown in the manual. can this be done ( hopefully from the key pad )

is there a wireless trasmitter/reciver interface that can be fitted to the above to expand the system to more than 8 zones

Hello, I have now received my alarm but when I connect power I get a fault code: - NOT READY TRBL MEMORY and I can not find this fault code in the maual or on Visonics webpage. Please advise how to proceed.

i have paired my deltabell external sounder (see previous posts)problem i have now is whenever i enter my alarm code - the external sounder goes?when i do enter the codeit does bring up a message on the displayTesting....and then the standard now arming message...there is no alert about the external deltabell being triggered on the display panel and re entering the alarm code does not turn it off either. i have to access engineer menu and and exit and then it says 'saving nvm data' and it turns offproblem i have is i cannot set the alarm in either of my zones without the external sounder immediately going off?any advice on how i can fix this please?

Hello! I'm in the process of building a home alarm that consists of the G2-44 Panel and I'd like to know a couple of things: Provided that I have installed a RF Portal, 1. Will this Glass Break Detector that Securitywarehouse supplies (Model: DOM-BG- work with the Galaxy system? 2. Will the KTC 805 keyfob work with the system? If I'd like to purchase the FlexGuard Glass Break Detector and Magnetic Contact (model FG-1608T) as well as the TCB8M Keyfob would it be possible for Securitywarehouse to order them? Thanks! I currently have a Texecom R8 house alarm. I need to replace the main circuit board, so I thought I would upgrade to the Excel, use the Existing R8 as a remote keypad in an alternative location and install an new PIR sensor while I was at it. The question is. Is the existing R8 keypad compatible with the Excel board? (as an additional remote keypad) and will the existing PIR sensors operate correctly? Do you use any further problems? I am quite new to wiring intruder alarms. I just purchased the H-well ADE Accenta 4 x PET PIR Starter Kit and have the following questions: 1. My current intruder alarm has an internal siren and a strobe both in serial connection to a PIR. Is this possible with the H-well kit or do they both have to have their own wiring? 2. According to the H-well Engineer's Manual the strobe should be connected with yellow, white, green, red and black. What about the blue? 3. I have an internal siren which is connected with 6 core cable but extension speakers should be connected with 2 wires according to Engineer's Manual. What do I do? 4. 6 core wiring in general. Hi all I received my exchange from yourselves and today installed the new unit. The keypads now turns on unlike before. Just to recap i have connected to the system 3 x Pir`s and 1 door contact. 1 x 16ohm external speaker connected to the system 1 x Keypad connected to the system. 1 x Lan card connected. I turned the system on for the first time there were no sounds and the keypad behaved as expected. The Keypad states Euro 46 but not Euro 46 V10 like in the manual also the time and date adjusted itself, i assume this is because the Lan card is installed and had connection to the internet? I am looking too install a wired alarm system into a large powered garage and would like a recommendation on which of your products would be most suitable. Ideally I would like the control unit (with battery backup) separate to a keypad (or fob reader) so that it can be installed out of harms way. If possible, I would also like an external siren with strobe. For the sensors I think 2 PIRs would suffice however, these need to avoid false alarms so perhaps dual sensing ones would be better for me. The PIRs need to be able to cope with more extreme temperatures than inside a house, a hot motor vehicle being parked in front of them and probably the odd spider or two. Please…

Logic 6 alarm system as ordered, however it appears to be faulty. I was replacing an existing unit and wired the PIR’s, door switches and Exterior bell box and strobe. The system immediately showed a fault on the anti-tamper side. I removed the PIRs and tested the system with door contacts and it worked fine. On testing the 13v power contacts they are not showing any power reading although the batter is running the rest of the system. It would appear that the circuit board is wired incorrectly. I can confirm that the fuses are intact but no power is being shown at the output side
