Im looking to purchase 2 camera kits - Silverline 4 IR External Camera Kit.

I have an Apollo 8ch HD series DVR with what I presume are analogue cameras, using balons with dome cameras and a 12v feed via the same cat6 cable. Will the newer HD dome cameras work with this set up?

I have a Honeywell pet safe hard wired 8 port alarm system, I'm a joiner and have a lot of tools in the van I wanted to put a cordless sensor in the van and one in a post box (if someone puts their hand in to steal post), I've been told this can be done with doubleing up a port and then attaching a nova 4 and attaching the two sensors to it, but he was not sure how it's done does anyone know how to and a list of things I need to buy or even a better method

I inherited a analogue 8 camera system, that is a couple of years old, and mostly functioning. Id like to upgrade 3 of the cameras, the DVR and all the paired PIRs. Is there a DVR that can manage old and new cameras and the paired PIRs? I'd like to get a alerts from the PIRs, then look at the live camera if needed. To keep false alarms to a minumum I am thinking about GJD or Optex VXS PIRs. Is this a good approach, or should I upgrade to the a POE IP NVR set up?

Hi, we purchased an ESP digiview 4 system a while ago and now want to transfer data to back it up. Whenever we connect it to the pc and open the UBS viewer, we get the following error message. "No dvr hdd is detected" However, the usb viewer can still see the disk drive as it tells us what size it is.

We install CCTV systems. A customer has asked for a CCTV surveillance system installed, covering their two property entrances. The main vehicle entrance is about 80m from the house, with an automated rolling metal gate. We propose a high quality IR dome camera here. Power is available via mains power available in the gate operation box. The second entrance is an automated door 25m from the house. Do you supply transmitters/receivers for both needs (weather proof housings required), the receivers to be ideally placed near the DVD. Signal will go through one if not two walls line of sight to both transmittion areas. Advice and prices sought.

I'm considering buying a small and simple CCTV setup with two cameras (one indoor and one outdoor). I was considering a Voltek H264 Full D1 Digital Video Recorder with 500GB HDD and 2 Genie WAHD2EB cameras (I want discreet white cameras). Are these items compatible? wen purchased a cctv kit in march and the cameras keepn going blank with snowy pictures if you unplug them and plug them back in they used to come on but not any more they are snowy all the time

Hi i would like to install a CCTV system with 4 cameras. 2 cameras on my house, 1 on my barn and 1 on my garage. I would like a good enough picture for face recognition day and night in case someone is snooping around. I would like them wired to the hard drive in a cupboard recording then a cable to my TV in my lounge which i can turn the channel over and see the 4 cameras. I have been looking at the ESP digiview 4 kit day and night and was wondering if this is up to the job. If not, any other recommendations. Nothing really expensive though!! I have a Mitsubishi DX-TL HDD recorder, and i am looking for some replacement monitors as my current screens are getting a bit dark. The Mitsubishi has BNC connectors with 1.0Vp-p and 75 ohm output. The Secware 17" TFT monitor has a BNC connection but doesn't state the voltage or resistance, can someone confirm that the monitor would be compatible with my recorder. Thanks.

I know that Pelco unit is now obsolete but unfortunately we have to find somewhere some stocks of these because these units are intended to be used within a CCTV system already based on this type of equipment. We are talking about a system (for Bucharest subway) that has about 1000 video cameras and 90 multiplexers and is very difficult to put few new units with other operating procedures.
