Dear Support, Would you know the jumper settings for a Risco Gardtec 595 / 800 Series Zone Expander card? There is a bank of 8 called ZEX1 through to ZEX8, J9 (ZEX Type) and J10 (ZEX Group). Are these in a manual somewhere as I can't find them in the 595 manual I have. Grateful if you can help.. Many thanks. Roy.

Hi 1. What PIR detectors are included in the Risco Wireless Wisdom Kit? RWT92? 2. Informative stickers (informning the possible burglar of the alarm), are such included or can they be bought separately? 3. Could you give me some advice regarding Risco's Wisdom and the Powermax+? Those are the recommended/approved wireless alams in Sweden but there seems to be quite a difference regarding the price (3PIR, external siren, central unit, 2 keyfob)? Best regards, Jonas

Sorry all you good people out there, to ask these questions , but I do not know whether it is I who is Dim or could the Electronics actually be at fault ?. When I try to register the keyfobs under other devices and I go to arming station I am asked to activate the tamper , A Is this the correct section to be in . B As there is no tamper do I just press any button or what. Also with regard to the Tag I am supposed to offer this up to the top left of the panel . I am in the arming station section but nothing is reacting. Again am I in the correct section and is there any way of verifying the Tag is working. I have proved that the Fobs are working by …

I am looking to replace an existing system (Elkron) with a new one and would appreciate any recommandation from an expert. I would like to combine wired detection (given available existing cable connection) and wireless detection (for new detection points and keyboards). I need to cable about 24 points (detectors, keyboards, smoke detectors, sirenes) and about 24 wireless points (windows/doors detectors, smoke detectors, IR detectors and keyboards) and would like detetors with some intelligence against false alarms (digital signal analysis?). I am currently looking at Risco as well as Texecom. I have heard Risco may be more difficult to program (only for registered i…

We have a Eurosec LCD panel intruder alarm in our house which we dont use, but there are 2 panic alarms in the house (little white box with red button on top and a little keyhole on the front), which are set to green so we assume are active (we havent tested as we have no keys to turn off?!?!). Does anyone know if you can buy replacment keys as my daughter is getting big enough that she is bound to press it soon and we are worried we wont be able to turn it off !! We would like to de-activate these alarms.

  7. Hi, first post Can anybody tell me the recommended way of wiring a Texecom Premier48 and PSU200XP combination to the mains supply? Would each panel require its own fused spur? I will not be undertaking this work myself, but would like to have some knowledge of what is required before approaching an electrician. Thanks in advance.

  8. I am putting together an alarm system for a domestic house using the 75 as the base system but need to add a couple of extra features which don't come in the box ! I am planning on having two master blasters, one inside and one out, these will be the 12v relay versions, will they wire straight into the panel without additional hardware? I also need to turn on about four 240v external floodlights upon activation of the alarm ( say 2000 watts total load ) will any additional hardware be required for these? I am an absolute alarm virgin so if you can keep it as simple as possible I would be very grateful. Thanks for your help

Hi Folks, Looking to replace a failing alarm system we currently have in place at a county scout hut. It consists of three PIR's, auto dialar and the central panel/main box. The alarm is activated by locking he door and de-activated my unlocking the door! (Clever stuff ) For ease of use we'd like to keep this system. For numerous reasons we wont be using a control panel to type in the code! Any suggestions? Just looking for a replacement system.. Something that we can use the existing lock with! (The door lock is simply wired straight to the alarm) Regards, Scott

Flash-guard Belle 1 Tampout BT 4 Supply - B- 5 Supply+ B+ 6 Trigger BA 8 Strobe- STB Added link between TF and B- The speakers sound, the strobe works. the LED's flash and the anti tamper operates when the alarm is unset. If I put the panel in engineer mode and operate the anti tamper switch the panel does not register a tamper condition which is correct but the Belle sounder still operates which means the front panel can not be removed for testing without setting of the Belle internal alarm. …

Hi, we bought a menvier SD1+ speech dialler from your website last week. Upon testing it, our engineer found problems dialling out. Upon talking to menvier tech support he was told that it was from a batch that had been recalled and that we should send it back via our supplier. Our secretary e-mailed tecnical@securitywarehouse.co.uk this a.m., but no reply as yet. Pleae treat this as urgent as our client(unhappy!) has to have a member of staff on the premises until this is installed.

Hi, I bought an Optima Compact Gen4 over two months ago. Since then I have been trying to connect it to a bell box from another manufacturer without success. Honeywell technical support simply say that I MUST buy their Reson8 siren! The bell box model is Mars 2000, the instructions and circuitry are attached. I have tried numerous combinations of the panel's A/D/B terminals to the bell's H-/H+/SO terminals but the bell is never triggered by the panel. I know that the bell works because I can manually trigger it by changing the voltage on H+ or H-. Any tips before I give in and buy the Reson8? Thanks...

  16. Started by Taz29uk,

Afternoon, I have recently installed an optima compact gen3 system in my house and added a remote keypad. The system is working fine and walk tests etc with no problems but whilst it is day made the remote keypad and main control box emit a double beep approx every five minutes (very annoying). I've gone through the operating manual and the engineers manual I have and it seems this would be the system telling me of a line fault for the communications system. However, as you as probably aware, there is no comms system on the compact panel. any idea how I can stop it beeping at me please......? Thanks, Neil Annals.

Hi I purchased the above panel recently. The user manual suggests that it can be set up in a way that you only need only press the set button rather than entering the 4 didgit code. I cant see in the engineers manual how to do this. Is this the case and if so how do you set it up. Thanks Jimr

Hi, I purchased the above kit from yourselves just over a week ago. I am trying to wire the bellbox to the control panel, however, the connections listed in the Intellisense AG6 leaflet differ from those on the actual PCB. The manual lists TR- V- ST- V+ S- but the PCB has ST R SW V+ V- So can you tell me what to connect to where on the Accenta G4 panel? Regards, Warren

  23. I'm trying to decide which battery to purchase for my G2-44 system that I'm ready to order from Securitywarehouse, and I'd like to know if the Control Panel supplied with the LCD Keypad (Model: C044-01-KPD) is the plastic or the metal one since there is a difference in the battery size (7Ah vs 17Ah). Thanks!

Hello! I'm in the process of building a home alarm that consists of the G2-44 Panel and I'd like to know a couple of things: Provided that I have installed a RF Portal, 1. Will this Glass Break Detector that Securitywarehouse supplies (Model: DOM-BG- work with the Galaxy system? 2. Will the KTC 805 keyfob work with the system? If I'd like to purchase the FlexGuard Glass Break Detector and Magnetic Contact (model FG-1608T) as well as the TCB8M Keyfob would it be possible for Securitywarehouse to order them? Thanks! Looking forward to hearing from you.
