I have a domestic Itec Horizon alarm system with shock sensors wired on every window and door sensors on the front and back door. The systen does not use PIR's. The main Horizon box has developed a fault and I understand these are quite old now and no longer available. Can you tell me what a modern equivalent system is that would be compatible with the existing installation - ie the window and door sensors and the price?

, I have an older alarm panel that does not need EOL resistors. Is there a way to use this device without the EOL resistors selected as a normally closed circuit like traditional alarm circuits? Before I had the texecom AED 0001 which is fine but this new replacement talks about EOL resistors built in in the literature. I just want to know if it is compatible with the texecom veritas panel which doesn't use EOL

Accenta G4 mini from you. Connected it up and fully tested including under alarm conditions. Last week I had an alarm activation which worked fine BUT the strobe will not reset. Thinking I had a faulty siren I bought a Honeywell ActiveGuard AG3 from you. I powered down the panel and connected the new siren. Repowered and the strobe was immediately flashing and still won't reset! Powered down the panel and connected the siren with a short length of new cable. Repowered the panel and the strobe was immediately flashing and still won't reset.

My first question is can you confirm the total load current of the AG6 is 260mA max as I seen else where figures higher than this. The total load for the Logic six is only 1A. My second question is could the second AG6 be wired with only the strobe operating but keeping the anti tamper working? If so how would this be wired?

It keeps sounding at random times, with no tamper fault and no error message on the control panel. The problem seems to lie with the sounder only.

We are looking for a fully wireless, self install inturder system for our Gardeners Yard, we would need a few internal motion detectors and door contacts and some external gate contacts, we also would want some external sirens. We do have some power in the building for the base, but no internet and very little 4G signal., Is this something you can advise on?

i'd like to fit an alarm system into my double garage but am not sure which is the right kit to fit. I've installed a Texecom into my house which i'm very happy with so ideally would like to use their kit again if possible. I'd like to keep the house and garage system completely seperate. By my reckoning i need 1 x control pannel with keypad for in the garage 1 x remote keypad for in the house (incase of false alarm activation) 2 x suitable garage PIRs 1 x remote control (for controlling from the car as the doors are remote controlled also) 1 x red LED flashing external light to show alarm is set 1 x external strobe to show alarm has been activated 1 x internal…

Hello, I'm french and my english is very poor... I'm a retired man living in a house and so I'm not a company. I'm looking for wired alarm with an ability of extension ( number of wired captors or also wireless captors). The centrale must be quite (no siren) to be dissimulated from the burglars. In my bedroom I want and keypad with a LCD that can indicate to me where the intrusion occurs. My job was in informatic system, so I will be happy to configure my alarm wit…

I am interested in the wireless detectors for my home. (outdoor) Blueline PIR Detector We live on a very large property with three large dogs in the garden. 2.What I would like to do is divide the property into 4 security zones which can be armed and disarmed independently. I was thinking of placing about 4 or 5 detectors in each zone. Could you make any suggestions? Do you think that the above detector will be right for me? Next, I would like to hear your opinion about the receivers and/or control panel that I would need? The control panel (alarm system) should be armed and disarmed by using a remote control. My other concern is that we often experience po…
