hi , I have a warehouse building (vehicle workshop) with cars parked at teh entrance needed some advice as to which product you sell that can be used to notify me of human entry into the entrance area with cars parked in the entrance gateway , Also am thinking of installing CCTV , preferably high definition to observethe yard next door. I would like to install a burglar alarm in a clients workshops! They already have Hikvision cctv system and proximity alarms and electronic gate which are the better alarms. I was looking at Pyronix or Ajax but I saw a comment from your store on a forum saying Pyronix were a little limiting are Texecom better Ajax are more expensive!!! Please give advise!

Hello, Some years ago I installed a couple of Tate alarm systems. These were fairly simplistic but allowed the external siren (and any internal sound bomb) to be disabled on night set. Since then I've moved over to the Pyronix Sterling 10 as I wanted a full text log. The Sterling is OK but had no means to disable the sirens on part set and the log has no date/time stamp. I'm moving house again and will be installing a new alarm. I want a system with a date and time log and the ability to turn off any internal siren and just have the normal speaker tone on activation. I would be grateful if you could help me. My system has a Flashguard Exterior Sounder Unit 1164 with Xenon Flashing light and electronic sounder connected to a Franzen 3000, installed in 1987. I have bought an Optima Compact Gen4 Intruder Panel, and have got the strobe working but not the sounder. 'Old' connections were as follows:- Flashguard Franzen Connector Function connected to Connector A -ve Hold Off Charge - B -ve Switched Sounder Output S- C Tamper not connected D +ve Hold Off Charge + E not connected F -ve Tamper Return R- Could you please advise me how to connect the Flashguard to the Optima Compact Gen4? I'm looking for the ProMax / Visonic Complete system, preferably in a kit, but I can't seem to find it at your site. Is this system something you are selling or do I need to look somewhere else? If you do, can you please point me where to find prices and so on. I'm also wondering about the price on the Visonic PowerMax Pro system. I currently have a FreeWave alarm for my detached garage and shed. Working fine but I want to use more wired sensors than the 4 that this allows. Could you advise on an alternative panel? I currently have a Visonic MCR-304 receiver used with a MCT-320 Magnetic Contact Transmitter on a door. The MCR-304 has developed a fault and I believe this item is no longer available. I was looking at the Pyronix UR2-WE as a possible replacement. I appreciate I will need to replace the magnetic contact transmitter; is there a compatible device and will the Pyronix UR2-WE be suitable. The MCR-304 is connected to a Texecom Premier Elite 24 and uses the 12 volt from the alarm. Many thanks

have purchased a Honeywell DT7450UK2 motion sensor for use in a conservatory and having received it am unsure of its compatability and wiring requirements. My security system is 12v however the wiring information states 24vdc for tamper and alarm. Please advise.

I need to replace 2 brown sensors for white sensors. The sensors I have are GS612 and a GS620 I believe. My front door is as previously fitted a normal opening door. The rear door has been changed from a sliding door to french style opening doors. Both doors also have magnetic opening strips in addition to the shock sensor. Can you tell me what the differences are between the sensors? Do they use the same wiring? Should I be changing them like for like?
