Good morning to all! I just purchased a Visonic 33 kit from SecWare, and I am experiencing trouble with regards to the communication between the panel and KP 250 keypad. I already opened a ticket with Support and awaiting instructions. Quite often the keypad stops responding whilst a "communicating..." message is displayed. In that case I need to remove the batteries from the keypad to get it working again.. Sometimes communication between keypad and panel is lost completely (a message "no communication" is displayed). The keypad and the panel are in close proximity and I tried relocating both units to no effect. Also, enrolling devices is a hit and miss situatio…

HI I just installed a Risco WisDom panel and was wondering how to wire a Gardtec eusosec xs7 Bellbox to it. A wiring diagram would be very helpful if anyone can help. The panel comes with 2.2k resistors , the lid tamper is fine but the bell loop fault keeps coming up, and the alarm activating does not ring the external bell. Thanks

  7. Started by Jonas,

Hi 1. What PIR detectors are included in the Risco Wireless Wisdom Kit? RWT92? 2. Informative stickers (informning the possible burglar of the alarm), are such included or can they be bought separately? 3. Could you give me some advice regarding Risco's Wisdom and the Powermax+? Those are the recommended/approved wireless alams in Sweden but there seems to be quite a difference regarding the price (3PIR, external siren, central unit, 2 keyfob)? Best regards, Jonas

I see two mobile com modules TEXECOM. (type 0001-jae and cegb 001) What's the difference? There is a big price difference. I recently bought a 48 premier installation TEXECOM elite with you. The intention is that the alarm via mobile redirected to mobile. Additional question: To how many mobiles he can send the message and it is only a text message or voice?

  13. does the bell box come complete with battery ,strobe , twin leds thanks

  14. When I install it, where it is supposed to be, it goes into this tamper alarm mode and it does not help to remove and then add the device or removing the battery, keeps staying in the tamper alarm mode. Have ran out of ideas. Any suggestions on what to do about it??? It is only one contact and it enrols fine and I also suspect its something with the tamper switch, but have not figured out how to reset the switch. Thought it was enough to put back the cover but apparently there is something else that needs to be done. Could you please explain how to 'reset' the tamper switch after it has been violated?

I have a few questions about this product that I am hoping someone can answer. 1. The product has an in-built microphone. Is it also possible to attach an external microphone (like Texecom's voice dialler)? 2. Are the remote functions (e.g. memo playback, listen in etc) accessible through both the GSM route and the normal telephone line. 3. What's the best method for provide back-up power? Thanks.

  19. Can you please advise me on the best battery choice for the above system so I may place my order, and advise me on estimated delivery times. Many thanks. Derry.

I have a Risco GT 595 and my installer has just gone out of business. I managed to get the engineer access code from him following his demise but this is of little use without an engineer installation manual or support from Risco. Not being a registered installer neither are available from Risco. Can I get these elusive commodities via Security Warehouse? I notice that many Risco products listed on your site are Sold Out with the exception of user manuals. Is there a reason for this unusual demand? To be specific about my need for information; an outbuilding satellite alarm system linked by radio to the main system seems to register as a tamper fault despite it being in…

I need to connect three smoke detectors to my existing Texecom 48 system. I don't want to run cables back to the panel, so I planned to connect the detectors to an expander, which would be connected to the spare cable sitting in the loft which was already taken back to the panel when the system was installed. I want to avoid using a power supply with the expander if possible. I do not have any other expanders on the system currently. About 14 zones on the Texecom 48 are used. What are the options, and would I be better off running three separate cables from th epanel to the loft? It will be a pain in the a*se mind.

I purchased a SD 3 dialler off you approximately 3 years ago. It has recently stopped dialling out when the alarm has been activated. I checked the Sim card in a mobile phone and I was able to make calls from the phone, to double check I also bought a new sim card which again worked in my mobile phone but would not dial out from the SD 3. In the LCD display , next to the temperature there is a small box with a letter T in it. The sim card I use is a Tesco pay as you go, signal strength is the same as usual. I have tried to do a test call from the dialler and it failed with the message call error. When I have dialled in remotely the sim goes straight to answer phone , I wa…

  25. Hi, We are having false alarm trouble with one sensor in our already installed alarm. We have sensitivity set at the lowest possible level. This GS611 shock sensor with reed switch is mounted horizontally on the top right of an external glass door frame (on the frame not the door) - it is a back door and rarely used. I cannot find (anywhere in the UK/Ireland) that will sell me a replacement, I can get one from the states but shipping is 90$+ (!) My question is, do you know of a compatible replacement shock sensor/reed switch that I could source in the UK?? For example from securitywarehouse would this wor…
