Hi, Can you advise me which smart devices link with the Visonic Powermaster33 I see on the Visonic Alert app there is an option to add smart devices. the options given are Adjustable, Switchable, x10, z-wave and zigbee how do they intergrate? Hi I am looking for a few black network CCTV for use with zoneminder. I have a server in my loft that will be capable of running zoneminder and I want to add some IP cctv cameras to it. There will be used outside and attached below the guttering and that has access back to the loft. Thanks Neil

Are the Voltek 4 channel and 8 channel video capture cards compatible with the Zoneminder Linux system?

This is not a complaint just a question, we bought 2 different types of camera's from you, which we thought would pick up number plates on cars, unfortunately neither camera does this, is this because the camera's are not powerful enough, or do you need to move them very close to the object that you are trying to identify at the moment they positioned just below the gutters all around the house, with the drive being only a matter of about 12 feet away from this particular camera. The other thing is, the 2 bullet camera's do not give as clear a picture as the cheaper dome camera's overall the camera's are good but just don't pick up the details as …

I'm currently running a sprite 2 hardrive running 16 CCTV cameras. the hardrive inside has died so i need a new one with a DVD/CD re writer and a usb port, is this possible any advice is greatly appreciated.

I am trying to create my own camera system, i counted that i will need approx. 20 - 30 camera's to monitor my premises. Since i want to create the system on my own, i am looking for some good IP Cams with IR and Ethernet. I was thinking to use Zoneminder as the DVR software so the cameras should be supported by it. The camera should be able to recognize faces in the dark but there is no need for PTZ since they will be static. I want to create the DVR with Zoneminder because of the limitations with branded DVR's or do you sell good open source Linux based DVRs ?

I'd like a little advice on a wireless door sensor. I have an installed system of a few cameras, I would like to introduce a wireless sensor to detect when a gate is opened. I have installed an IP CCTV system which includes an I/O device that I am using to manage some PIR detectors. I have a spare input in the device (it detects a NO or NC circuit) and I would like to use that to detect when the gate is opened, but there is no possibility of running alarm cable. Do you sell a wireless product that I could install? I presume it would be a 2 part device, one which detects a change in the state of the door sensor to disrupt or complete a circuit, and the sensor itself.

I am using 4 Voltek, CT 122 Cameras on my house. But the one on the front cannot read number plates. So I have been told, the Voltek vpcdn2 is much sharper? (more pixels)? Or can you recomend a camera for me? (colour). That I can connect to, 6-pin-mini socket, and 6-way/RJ11 plug?

I have a Philips Observation CCTV system with Bosch cameras. the philips monitor powers the cameras which are wired with UTP cable and an RJ11 connector. I wanted to get rid of the Philips monitor and connect the cameras direct to my DVR which has BNC. could you tell me whether any of the cctv baluns you sell would provide power and video/audio signals from RJ11 to BNC

I know that Pelco unit is now obsolete but unfortunately we have to find somewhere some stocks of these because these units are intended to be used within a CCTV system already based on this type of equipment. wen purchased a cctv kit in march and the cameras keepn going blank with snowy pictures if you unplug them and plug them back in they used to come on but not any more they are snowy all the time

have an IP camera that I would like to alarm via a PIR. The Camera has I/O contacts & the input contacts create an alarm when shorted - the contacts are rated at 1amp @ 28v. Please suggest a PIR which will work - normally open contacts I assume & preferably battery powered.
