But I wonder about the price for Visonic Powermax Pro? Do you have Visonic Powermax complete as well and if so what's the price for it? If I order two complete alarm systems with accessories, is it possible to get any kind of discount? Do I need to change anything else except the power connection to get it working in Sweden?

[Ticket Question] Engineer Code for the Galaxy 2-20
securitywarehouse replied to securitywarehouse's topic in Intruder Alarms
I bought the galaxy g2-20 unit back on 27th April 2009, on order number ***** and had an electrician setup the unit. I need to make a few changes to the configuration now but do not have the engineer code (only have the master code). Is there any default code that I can try or is there a way to hard reset the unit (eg. by unplugging the battery backup and disconnecting from the mains)? The factory set engineer code of ****** doesn't work, can you help on how to reset again? Unfortunately the electrician does not remember the new code. is there any other way to reset the alarm to default? -
[Ticket Question] Are these products compatible?
securitywarehouse replied to securitywarehouse's topic in Intruder Alarms
Hi I can confirm that all of the items you have chosen are compatible with each other and the back up battery that we would recommend would be the Yuasa 7ah. You can purchase two types of LED. One with flying leads and the other with a battery. Sadly the Ody 3 dummy does not have a place for you to mount them. If you wish to purchase the Ody 3 and would like the live & dummy to be identical to look at you may consider purchasing two Ody 3E rather than one live and 1 dummy. Hope this information helps you. -
I am looking to purchase a hard disc recorder to record images from up to four surveillance cameras (BNC connections) as part of my experimental work looking at behavioural responses of animals. I am a complete novice when it comes to this type of technology so please excuse my ignorance. We currently use a AverDiGi EB1304-MPEG4 to monitor the behaviours but would like a system that would automatically back up the images to an external hard disc drive. It would need to be MPEG4 to allow us to view the footage on our PC's and would be interested in any other features which you feel would benefit our work. Please advise us on which of your product would be most suited for this task. Could you include the price of any recommended products including cost of delivery and also any compatible accessories (i.e. the external hard disc drive) I look forward to hearing your reply.

securitywarehouse replied to securitywarehouse's topic in Intruder Alarms
I've just read the response, thankyou. However, can I check that the white wire is now simply left unattached? -
Hi, just been delivered secware optima2 pet kit to replace old optima system. Wired unit fine, now trying to wire siren. Old siren has connections, linked to wire colours in () Strobe + (White (strobe)) Strobe - (lt Green (strobe)) T (Blue (scb)) E (Yellow (scb)) A is linked back to E via metal loop D (Red (bell)) R (blk (bell)) New siren has: ST- R- SW- V+ V- The given instructions are for the Optima XL4 and don't seem to make any sense. I seem to have 6 wires, and only 5 terminals. Can you help?? Looking again and researching on the net forums, I'm now thinking: AG6 Optima ST- to Strobe- (Lt Green) R- to T SCB (Blue) SW- to B Bell- (Black) V+ to D Bell+ (red) V- to A SCB (yellow) I now have the white wire unattached? Previously used as Strobe + connection on old sounder. What do you think?

Maybe unwisely, I have bought a used SD1+ Speech Dialler to replace a twelve year old model that failed to respond to all the helpful advice you gave me back in February. I have carried out a factory restart, as described in the manual, and have created a 'NEWCODE'. However, when I try to program telephone numbers from 'READY' and press'ENT', the LCD still shows 'READY'! Again from 'READY', if I press 'O' 'CLEARBY' is indicated. But pressing 'B', 'CLEARBY' still remains on the LCD! Please can you help me!

thanks for the reply, I have two immediate issues : 1... The panel didn't come with any instructions at all - I now have a set from Honeywell for the CMI800++ 2... The keypad that I got as part of the kit has some instructions with it, but they refer to the programming tool supplied and make no mention of the keypad being able to program the panel. I understand that this is a "professional" product, and I am an experienced contractor, but with any real installation guide I think this would be a challenge for most. An urgent response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
