I have a GC Simon wireless alarm system (model: 60-911-010-4-IE) and one of my door sensors has developed a problem and needs to be replaced. However I am having great difficulty in sourcing a suitable replacement. I did by a recommended replacement from the USA but this did not work. I think because the system I have is 433Mhz and the new sensor was 319Mhz. Can you recommend a replacement sensor and where I may purchase same. Thanks in advance and regards

Hi, Can you advise on a simple and robust wired alarm for a cold and damp Scout hut. I will be installing it myself but I don't expect major problems with that side of things... We need: 5 PIRS 1 key pad 3 door detectors 2 external bells (preferably) 1 dummy box 1 internal sounder and about 200m of cable No need for distinct key codes or anything like that. Thanks

Can anyone recommend a simple wired alarm system with support for maybe 2 door contacts, and 4-6 PIR's. I'd like one with GSM support to SMS me when an alarm event is triggered. Any other fancy features like internet monitoring would be nice, but not necessary. This will be for domestic use - and only used very occasionally i.e. - when on holiday. No pets in the house. Thanks,

  7. Hi, Please can you recommend a smoke alarm suitable for connection to a texecom premier elite that is good for a garage/workshop area? I'm guessing (given use of angle grinders, woodworking equipment, etc) an optical alarm is not a good idea. The garage is also poorly sealed (large gaps around the door) so does get very cold in the winter. I was wondering about the Texecom Exodus RR/4W. It seems to be recommended for places where temperature won't exceed 38C, which sounds likely for my garage. Would it be a good choice? Thanks Joseph

  9. Hi, So it's 1:49am, my husband is at work and I can't get hold of him. my 9800 alarm is saying battery fault and keeps going off every few minutes. My daughter is stood by the pin pad in tears whilst i desperately try to find a solution - is there anyone who can help? I feel sick and I'm shaking! I don't know if it's going off outside. The company who installed it have gone out of business and I don't know who to ring and there's no user manual anywhere, I can't find much online either. I'm in north Kent, any help would be so gratefully received. Thank you

I recently purchased from you a Siemens SPC530.320 alarm panel and Invincibell Plus amongst other compnents My question relates to connecting wiring the Invincibell to the SPC530 panel. In the Invincibell wiring diagram it shows the Bell terminal of the alarm box connected to the bell terminal of teh alarm panel. However on a Siemens SPC530 there is no terminal marked bell so I would like to confirm where the bell terminal of the invincibell should connect to on the Siemens SPC530 SPC ---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- Com------- NO--------- BHO------ TR------ EX------ EX+------ I also plan…

Hi, I was looking to purchase 8x Menvier SD3 Speech Dialler. I can see this is now obsolete and the replacement is Eaton Universal 4G speech dialler. Our design is based around a PSTN version and we utilise our own PABX system so the BT PSTN switchoff will not be a problem for us. Do you have an alternative that supports a telephone line connection? Regards, Rubel

I am looking for a recommendation for a wireless single channel transmitter and receiver to be used as a PA button. The receiver would be wired to a Scantronic 9651. Would I be right to think the Visonic MCR-304 is now obsolete?

Hi, I'm looking to install an alarm system on a static caravan in an owners only holiday park. I only plan to use internal sounders (quite possibly just concealed speakers in the roof space connected to the panel) as I don't plan on disturbing neighbours in the event of a *prolonged* power outage. These would be close enough to the external vent to be easily heard outside - but also uncomfortable internally and very difficult to access. I'm after advice with regards to the most suitable PIR sensor to use. I'm planning on using a dual tech variant, but need one with a decently adjustable microwave range. Could you recommend one? I'm currently swaying tow…

Hi, I have the task of extending an alarm system to cover a small external cupboard and am after some advice with regards to the type of sensor to use. The cupboard is 3ft wide x 4ft deep x 4ft tall... not huge... it has one of those tubular 45w heaters installed that is nearly permanently on over winter. The cupboard is secured by a heavy duty wooden door and what looks to be a fairly decent lock. The cupboard houses about

Hello SecurityWarehouse I still havent got a bellbox for my system yet (Accenta G4)... I was thinking of getting one that is hardly visible and I wanted quality so I thought of Texecom! I have been looking at their Odyssey's and I think the 4E does just that. On your website, you have the Odyssey 4 and the Odyssey 4E live backplates in either clear or blue. If I was to get a "clear" 4E live backplate will the strobe lens be clear along the outside or blue? Basically the strobe is around the edge of the unit and I would like to know if that wrap around strobe reflector blue or clear? Its just i've seen pictures and some…
