Please can you recommend a smoke alarm suitable for connection to a texecom premier elite that is good for a garage/workshop area?

 

I'm guessing (given use of angle grinders, woodworking equipment, etc) an optical alarm is not a good idea.

 

The garage is also poorly sealed (large gaps around the door) so does get very cold in the winter.

 

I was wondering about the Texecom Exodus RR/4W. It seems to be recommended for places where temperature won't exceed 38C, which sounds likely for my garage. Would it be a good choice?
