Property 2: wireless system with either prox sensor on control panel with the possibility of adding a remote one or control panel with two/3 remote prox key pads. 2 wireless magnetic door contacts 4 wireless PIR Wireless external sounder. 2. re: Honeywell Intellisense IS215T. We would like to replace all motion sensors in our house with the IS215T. There are approximately 20no. Can we simply buy these and connect up to existing wiring? Do we need a new control box?

  3. I was wondering if you could help me? I am looking at this gsm module as a means of contact me. I have no telephone landline at the premises I want to install this and I need something that will phone me like a mobile phone and not just send text messages as this would not work, due to hearing a text message at night. Also how many numbers can be stored/programmed into the module?

  11. Hi, how is this alarm armed and disarmed? Does the alarm come with all of the parts to mount it to a wall? How loud is the alarm? We have an external light which sometimes comes on at night if our neighbour walks into his garden, would this light coming on at night time trigger the alarm? i look forward to hearing from you.

  12. I purchased 2 M12 smoke detectors from you, which I wish to use with the Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 security system. The engineers manual shows 2 wires, to a smoke detector with a relay base for output to intruder system. On the M12 do I use the 0v +12v terminals or the fire zone?

  13. I have bought 2 grade 3 roller shutter contacts from yourself. I am going to be installing them shortly and have removed them from their packaging to check them out. The wires from the contact are colour coded but as it is a galaxy panel I am connecting too I need 1k resistance. On the contact instructions it relates thus to the colour green, but the wires on the contact don't have this colour. What can I do to resolve this ? Use 1k resistors ?

  15. Can you suggest a package to provide 3 x independently switchable on/off beams of 12m, 9m, 6m span with a control panel and sounder. The sounder to mute after a preset time. the system to be mains/ 12v powered. The detectors to be preferably powered from one end only of each beam. As cheap as possible, p.s. external use near the ocean.

Hi informa bought with accenta poly gen4 (LCD Keypad) on 23 March. Alarm installed ok. Informa wired as per instructions. Programmed phone number and recorded message. When testing, you can hear number being dialled on the infoma box and then shortly after you hear the recorded message but the programmed telephone does not ring. Tried it with different numbers and programmed the number on 1,2&3. When trying it with a mobile phone number, the mobile didn\'t ring but received a missed call from the unit about 5 minutes later (this didn\'t happen everytime we tried the mobile - nothing came through). thanks

Homelink 75 panel – before you despatch it would it be possible for me to speak to someone for advice? My panel currently runs for about 3/4 hours and then dies. When I replace the rechargeable batteries it’s fine again and when reconnected to the psu it appears to be running from the mains supply – can these psu’s repeatedly fail over the course of a few hours under load?

  22. Started by Secware,

I have just purchased a Honeywell IS3016 security alarm sensor which does not appear to work with my existing alarm system showing as a fault on the control panel. It would be very unusual for the sensor to be faulty and assume there is a compatibility issue. the only item I can think of is the EOL setting which I have not encountered before and not aware of selectivity. I previously purchased from you the Honeywell Active8 DT which worked fine first time. My alarm system is an Accenta 8 Can you advise me what the problem may be or EOL settings.

What USB to 232 cables are people using for G2 compatibility? It seems that my dimension USB cable will not play ball with the G2 panel. Works fine for dimension panels and associated 232 cable, just not the G2 panel and cable., Thanks John
