  10. Hello there, Could you, please, help me finding which of your system would be most suitable for my needs? I am looking for alarm system for the house and 2 wooden bike sheds 7 meters from the house. The system for house can be wired, the system for sheds must be wireless. The house system will need 5 PIRs, one of them should tolerate a tortoise (25cm, 2 kg, in a heated enclosure in the hall), 2 door contacts, 2 sensors for windows (breaking glass or vibration?). There are both, a land line and GSM cover, in the house. The system for the sheds should probably have 1 door contact and 1 PIR for each shed, PIRs could maybe replaced by vibration sensors attached directly t…

  17. Started by Secware,

My wireless home alarm system has been jammed by source unknown. I have reset it but would like to back it up with hard wired system, not susceptible to jamming, for the upper floor of my house. Could you suggest components for such a system. I would like it to include Two PIRs (no need for pet friendly type) A remote wired keypad which can be set/unset easily without keying in a four number code ( I would like to either press one button or use a proximity tag, unless its operation can be jammed) A panic button (unless its operation can be jammed) Outside bellbox with battery back-up (not Odyssey) Thanks

  20. Hi, I wonder if you can help. I have an alarm system Networker ((Menvier) TS690R and need some additional wireless pir sensors. From what I can see they don't make the alarm system any more, but looking at your site it appears the Scantronic pir's maybe compatible?

  21. I am sorry to bother you again. Can you tell me please is it possible to get a wireless sender and receiver to fit inside the VERITAS R8 control panel as we have a garage that was alarmed that way as it is detached from the house and the old wireless sender is not compatible with your system. Also is there a code to open the panel to replace the battery as the installer took all the installation notes with him and he has gone to Australia for 3 months so i cannot contact him.

I have purchased a belle and two twin alerts by pynonix (order no 33462) to install on a scantronic 9752 panel. Neither the scantronic nor either belle/twinalert manuals match each other so would like some guidance on wiring these up. The scantronic manual has the following output:NO1, NO2, Tr, 12V AUX and 0V, and a separate +, and LS for internal loudspeaker. The belle has B-, B+, BA, STB, SPARE, BT and TF, The twin alert has 12V+, 12V-, SPK and BA The belle shows the following connections for scantronic: B+ = 12V B- = 0v BA = BELL STB = STROBE- BT = TR TF = 0V The TwinAlert has: 12V+ = +12V 12V- = 0V SPK = SPKR (low) BA = BELL The s…

  24. We recently purchased a system which includes 2 x Pyronix Deltabell and a honeywell ADE GEN4 metal system. When reading the Pyronix data sheet it states that the bell trigger to the Deltabell must not be in paralled ( ie from one output ) two outputs must be used. The problem is I dont think the GEN 4 panel has a second bell output terminal, or have i missed it? As the deltabell is class 3 we have to install a resistor (4k7) from the +ve to the bell trigger ( to give it aprox 2v or above during normal mode ). With one deltabell this works fine. How should I connect the other deltabell? would a solution be to install a 2K resistor in place of the 4K7 and set both bells t…
