[Ticket Question] Wiring For 2 Deltabell Bell Boxes

Featured Replies

We recently purchased a system which includes 2 x Pyronix Deltabell and a honeywell ADE GEN4 metal system. When reading the Pyronix data sheet it states that the bell trigger to the Deltabell must not be in paralled ( ie from one output ) two outputs must be used. The problem is I dont think the GEN 4 panel has a second bell output terminal, or have i missed it?

As the deltabell is class 3 we have to install a resistor (4k7) from the +ve to the bell trigger ( to give it aprox 2v or above during normal mode ). With one deltabell this works fine.

How should I connect the other deltabell? would a solution be to install a 2K resistor in place of the 4K7 and set both bells to SCB mode?

No there isnt 2 bell outputs on that panel. I would suggest the use of a double pole relay to trigger each bell then the high security resistors can be used too.
