  3. I am looking for a simple intruder alarm system for a large house. Not really interested in remote access and monitoring or systems requiring computers to load up and configure. Need 4 x RKP and 19 x PIRs. No PAs or door contacts, though will want to use PA functions on all the RKPs. I really like the simplicity of setting up and using the Accenta control panel, but am I right in thinking that 8 zones are the maximum available for PIRs? I could easily group together 2 or 3 PIRs on some of the zones but that can make fault finding more tedious. Would appreciate you confirming number of zones available to PIRs on Accenta Gen4, also any suggestions for another product.

Hi, I have ordered the Honeywell Accenta Mini G4 contorl panel with LCD remote keypad and is still waiting for the delivery. But my electrian has asked a question where should the control panel is located. He suggests to put it inside the cupboard next to the MCB board. However, I am thinking where is the internal bell? If it is inside the control panel, so I won't be able to hear the bell as the control panel is inside a cupboard and the door is shutted. However if the bell of the system is in the LCD keypad, there won't be any problem as it is located next to the entrance light switch. Qs: Is the internal bell inside the control panel? Qs: keypad descriptions in…

  11. We have recently moved in to a house fitted with a Scantronic 9448 alarm system. We believe we need to replace the PIR detectors to pet tolerant ones (as we have two house cats) and I wanted to check before I go ahead and purchase them that the 430 PIR will be compatible with the existing system?

  12. I am about to place an order for a Scantronic 9651EN-41 (9651 c/w 9941 rkp)with a remote keypad and tags etc. You do not seem to have a Scantronic external sounder. Are all the sounders you have of othr makes compatible with this control panel?

  13. Started by Secware,

last April it has worked perfectly. However recently, although it texts me on arming and disarming, if I try to control the system remotely ie arm, disarm, status it fails to respond. This was a relatively expensive piece of equipment and although just over one year old, I would have expected it to have lasted longer than this. It is operating with a Premier 24 panel (although only partially now!)

  17. Hi Does anybody know if the external sounder in the Pyronix Enforcer Kit3, ENF/KIT3-UK, needs a power supply? It looks as though it is just battery powered from the description. I know some of the other Pyronix sounders require power when they are lit after dark. Can anyone confirm please? Thanks

Pre-Order Enquiry - Decoy Bell Box Do you sell a Decoy Burglar Alarm Bell Box that includes a mains powered light (such as a faint blue flashing strip light) that is always active ... and mimics an actual bell box. If so, please could you let me know the part number etc. If not, I would be very grateful for any suggestions ... such as modifying a standard decoy box? btw. Does 'Sigma' still exist or taken over? I installed a sigma system years ago and have tried to buy similar kit. Many thanks for your help.

  19. Started by Secware,

I am wanting to place an order but one of the items I want to purchase is a suitable motion detector for my timber workshop. Please can you advise me on what type of detector is best suited (most stable) to this environment where there will be temperature changes, possible insects and there is 3 windows. It is a good quality workshop like a log cabin, I have had a look at your sensors but I am unsure when it offers pir, microwave, dual tech etc ? Thanks

  20. Started by Secware2,

  21. I am torn between the Pyronix 46 App, the HKC 1070 and the Texecom Premier systems. I want a hybrid system where I can have mostly wired sensors and outputs but with the potential for a bit of wireless. I'm comfortable with programming reasonably complex panels having done Texecom and Honeywell systems for my families houses. I've read a lot of great things about HKC on a Internet forum but I see you cannot connect the app to the panel without authorisation. Is this true? Can you provide this service?

  23. Hi - my Visonic Keypad is an MKP - 150 and I think it is dead. The Green lights are on but when I arm or disarm the system no noise comes from the Kepad itself and no Red light shows - nor an amber light for "trouble"I am sure it is powered by mains so do you think it is "dead?

Hi, I bought a sensor scantronic 714REUR but i not able to associate with the central Homelink 75. I followed the steps in the manual: enter the menu to acquire the unit and then trigger the tamper on the sensor. The red activity led flashes regularly but not response from central. Other sensor i bought (738REUR) work correctly Thanks Stefano
