Intruder Alarms

Hi, I have the ADE honeywell accenta mini gen 4 with LCD keypad and as second pad I have the Simple Set Reader.Can I buy the ADE Infomaer speech dialler and use it on this hardware? I also want to buy a 16ohm internal speaker. Now I have set 2 programms, 1 for in the day when we are going (every PIR is on) and 1 for night use (all PIRs are on downstars but upstairs they are off). Now my Simple Set REader is upstairs, how can I program it that only program2 for night is on when I go with the FOB on the pad? Thanks

Pyronix V2 GSM. I have 4 different voice messages on 4 different inputs. On activation of any input the first number is dialed, answered and accept code submitted.When the call is ended the dialer recalls three more times with the other three messages and the accept code has to be entered for all three.How do I stop the dialler making 4 calls for everyone alarm

I ALREADY HAVE A VERITAS 8C SECURITY PANEL FITTED AND EVERYTHING WORKS FINE APART FROM THE BUTTONS. THE NUMBERS HAVE ALMOST RUBBED OFF AND SOME BUTTONS ARE NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY WHEN BEING PRESSED. MY QUESTION IS ...IF I PURCHASE A NEW VERITAS 8C PANEL FROM YOU CAN I USE THE FRONT PART OF THE NEW PANEL TOGETHER WITH THE BUTTONS TO REPLACE THE OLD FRONT.

On the keyboard of the alarm Veritas excel is there a menu or a program in French?

Hello I have a veritas control panel and key pad with a wired intruder alarm system. The power circuit tripped and now I have the \"unlock\" light flashing. Until this is sorted I cannot set my alarm. Can you help please. Regards Roger Bell

I have fitted the above on a upc window. 1. the led is continuously flashing. Is this correct? 2. The unit is fitted to the position A at right hand side of the frame and will alarm on tapping the right hand panel but not when tapping the left hand panel. Are two units required on the window frame?

Hello, I have a Visionic Powermaster 10 alarm system that I want to upgrade to connect to BroadBand. I believe the unit I need is the Powerlink 3? I have a couple of questions ... Is this the right unit for my alarm? Once connected to my home router, am I able to use it right away, for example, through a telephone app, to monitor my alarm system, any ip camera etc? Do I HAVE to subscribe to any third party service or is that just an extra option? Thanks

Hi I am looking into buying a Visonic home alarm system Is it possible to mount a curtain detector across a room, i.e. creating a wall (a foot inside of a number of windows), even though there might be chairs etc on the floor?

I have a problem with the GSM-module...when I installed it I made the system powerless as it said in the manual, installed the sim-card and put the module in place. I have a speech-box with my powermax pro. No problem. But I just want to hear the internal speech-box speaker. Not the control-panel speaker that I don't want to hear. How to have only the speech-box sound ?

was hoping you sold the Visonic K9-85 pet immune PIR's but noticed the Scantronic CS430's that look almost identical on your listings (same can be said of Visonic K980 and Scantronic CS440). Thank you for the supply of the new remote keypad for my Visonic PowerMaster 10 I have registered the keypad without any problem. I started to register the prox tags but made a mistake, so deleted them. When I check the system, it clearly states 'none registered' When I try to re-add a tag, I now get the message "no free location". I removed the batteries from the keypad then I 'disconnected' the keypad from the main unit then re-registered the keypad with the main unit, hoping this would 'clear' any issues, but I still get the same message when trying to register a prox tag: "no free location" If I can't register any tags, the remote pad isn't a lot of use to me. Dear. I try to install KP-250 PG2 to my Powermaster 30. But the cetral unit only say: "Wrong ID". What shall I do?

When I install it, where it is supposed to be, it goes into this tamper alarm mode and it does not help to remove and then add the device or removing the battery, keeps staying in the tamper alarm mode. Have ran out of ideas. Any suggestions on what to do about it??? It is only one contact and it enrols fine and I also suspect its something with the tamper switch, but have not figured out how to reset the switch. Thought it was enough to put back the cover but apparently there is something else that needs to be done. Could you please explain how to 'reset' the tamper switch after it has been violated?

When will the Visonic MCS-730 bell box be available on your web site?

I have some problems with my WL siren (MCS-730). I have enrolled it as siren 1. When I check signal strength (diagnostics) there is strong connection between the CPU and S1. The tamper alarm works, the tamper alarm is shown on the CPU and it is in state not ready until the siren is back to normal again. My system is a PowerMax+ UK 1.47. However the (external) siren does not react (no sound or strobe) when there is an alarm in the system. How could I fix this problem?

I have a MCT-425 Smoke detector that warns about "Low-Battery" even though I have replaced the battery several times. I see this error on my control panel of my Visonic unit. The detector seems to be working OK, it gives med the regular 30 secons red flash. How do I remove this warning?

Hi I would be interested in buying Visonic alarm system. However I am not clear on the PowerLink functionality. Do I have to have Visonic IPMP server installed separately to support PowerLink for exactly this: sending emails/MMS messages with pictures from connected cameras UPON alarm trigger.

I was under the impression that with the powerlink3 I could access my internal cameras without a connection to a security service providers or rather the IPMP server provided by the service provider? Is this correct?

Hi, I have been looking to buy accessories for Visonic Powermaster 10G system of which I already have a panel and some accessories bought in Sweden. On many accessories it says "will only work with UK panels". Is this actually the case that I would not be able to get these to work with a panel bought in Sweden (sounds strange that Visonic would manufacture special equipment for UK only?)?
