check outputs? can anyone help me make sure i set it up right and what to check/fix i have paired my deltabell external sounder (see previous posts)problem i have now is whenever i enter my alarm code - the external sounder goes?when i do enter the codeit does bring up a message on the displayTesting....and then the standard now arming message...there is no alert about the external deltabell being triggered on the display panel and re entering the alarm code does not turn it off either. i have to access engineer menu and and exit and then it says 'saving nvm data' and it turns offproblem i have is i cannot set the alarm in either of my zones without the extern…

Hi i have the Accenta 8 mini. and the keypad is about dead. i am thinking of getting the keyfob. I got a few questions regarding it My keypad is situated on my stairs. and i am going to install the keyfob at the bottom of the stairs. or do the keyfobs have to be on the outside.. Could i connect the Easy set Key fob. whilst the alarm is still plugged in.. As i carnt remember how to set the alarm into diagnose mode so i can open the panel so the alarm dont go off. I installed it like 3 1/2 year ago and cant find the book for it.. any help will be great Thanks

Hi all, I have a Texecom Premier 48, to which I am trying to use the Wintex software to program. I am attempting to use my PC modem to connect to the 2400 com modem installed on the panel. However I can not get a connection with my PC to the panel. Has anybody had issues when trying to do this? Thanks.

Hi, Just bought from you a visonic powermaster 30 kit with some additional modules and sensores and have the following questions : 1) The Next PG2 K9 motion sensor come with 2 lens, what is the lens that is Pet tolerant? 2) I would like to buy a RS232 module to connect to the powermaster using the "Remote Programmer PC Software". Two questions : 2.a) What is the RS232 module that it's compatible with the powermaster 30? 2.Do you supply also the "Remote Programmer PC Software" ?

I'm looking for a wired alarm. I was interested in Veritas R8, but seems this model do not offer a feature i need. I would like the remote keypad to continuously display the state of each zone, with no sound, even when the alarm is turned off (i would like the control panel to behave by default as a silent alarm, and activate sounders when i switch the alarm ON). Do you have any alarm control panel that propose such feature? thx

We have a Visonic powermaster 10 with problems accessing the gsm network. I am not able to control it or obtain status reports via sms, and when I run the GSM/GPRS diagnostics it reports "Gsm net. fail". I am not aware of any issues with the SIM card or the subscription, but I thought I would try using another SIM. However, the installation manual clearly states no to insert or remove SIM card when the control panel is powered by AC or battery. Hence I need to remove the backup battery, but on page 59 in the user guide it is stated that I should contact my installer to perform the backup battery replacement. I am looking to get a security monitoring system were is no access for a landline (router) only to use GPS services. I was looking on connecting Visonic Powermax pro including Powerlink 2 unit with a sim card with data package. For a vision monitoring I want to connect a PTZ IP (axis???) outdoor dome camera which will be linked to the Powermax pro (how is it connected?) Could you please advice which camera will operate with this unit and how the system should work if the is only a mobile router (sim card with a data package) or is there some other solution how to connect this system and view it online?

Is this the only Guardall concentrator that you stock and if so is it compatible with the PX range of control panels?

Hello I installed a month ago scantronic 9651 the alarm goes in to fault mode When i read the log it states 'bad checksum' could you tell me what this , also it sometimes come up plug by communications is out , but i check the sd2 DIALLER it is functioning, line is ok If the same line is on a non filtered dsl telephone line could this interfere Thanks Mr Patel

Just instaled the panel, remote key pad and sounder and pirs. Firstly the instructions didn't match the sounder terminals with the panel but I think I may have sorted it know but the proble I have is as soon as I connect the sounder battery jumper the sounder goes off this happens with the panel wired and powered on fully disconnected from the panel. I have the system up and running if I put itI into alarm I get nothing from the main sounder sound or strobe but the sounder in the remote key pad sounds Please can you help?

I'm looking at buying the dualcom complete with 1 year monitoring but I'm just wondering how that works who it's monitored with etc Do you guys do all the applications etc as I'm not a registered installer with them Or do they just liase with me direct? I am replacing my old alarm system. I have done some research and it appears Scantronic are a good make in terms of functionality and reliability and come recomended from a colleague who has installed them previously. I have a wired sounder at present and want to maintain the wired asoect if possible. I'm looking at: i-on16 Control Panel (1) 714 Wireless PIR (6) Wireless door contacts - brown (2) Compatible wired sounder or the wireless one for i-on16 Please advise if the above are all compatable and what is my best option for a sounder. Also would the wireless PIR work in my detached garage? It's approximately10 metres from the control panel location.

We are a new organisation in southern Spain, a couple of elderly ex-pats who have become sick of the growing number of burglaries in the area. It is working well as we purchase kits from the internet and we are installing them and then using local labour, responding via GSM and arriving on site within 4-6 minutes. It has proved very successful in its first 3 weeks. However,we have one problem which is causing us grief and we are unable to remedy it. We suffer from frequent power cuts here, sometimes the rapid ones on and off for several minutes, and that can be day or night. As you may imagine, this activates the message to our phones and then re-sets only to go off again…

Hi, I bought an Optima Compact Gen4 over two months ago. Since then I have been trying to connect it to a bell box from another manufacturer without success. Honeywell technical support simply say that I MUST buy their Reson8 siren! The bell box model is Mars 2000, the instructions and circuitry are attached. I have tried numerous combinations of the panel's A/D/B terminals to the bell's H-/H+/SO terminals but the bell is never triggered by the panel. I know that the bell works because I can manually trigger it by changing the voltage on H+ or H-. Any tips before I give in and buy the Reson8? Thanks...
