Hi The receiver panel is a RFX08 and a 9751 control unit. The client has a 722 fob that will activate the panic alarm. However they have requested something like a one button alarm that can be attached to a wrist band/necklace for an elderly persons use around the home. Thanks PeterG

  4. I've just installed an Accenta G4 and have a problem using the set output with the latching option of the Texecom IMPAQ Plus detectors. The Accenta manual states that the set output is positive 12v upon successful set of the system and removed when a correct access code is entered. However when I test the output from the main board, it is 12v positive when the system is unset & removed once set, so opposite to what is stated in the manual. The detector instructions state the same as the Accenta manual for latching, positive when set, removed when unset. Is there a way of configuring this output or is it a fault with the Accenta as I can't find any reference to it i…

tried to install this panel but it keeps blowing the 1.6a battery fuse (i tried 3 times but it blew each time) .I bench tested the panel using mains only and was able to successfully set up and test as per the installation instruction. The Bell, strobe PIRs and LEDs worked fine but each time i connected the battery it blew the fuse. I have checked the wiring instructions and cannot see any obvious reason for the problem.Your assistance will be greatly appreciated

  7. I want to install a Texecom intruder alarm system into an apartment to replace a very basic RISCO panel. This has four wired RISCO PIR detectors and single entrance door with contact switch. It has one remote keypad My requirements are to keep the exiting PIRs and contact switch. Replace the keypad and have an auto dialler connected to analogue telephone. However I would like the option to send additional details alerts (stating what activated the alarm) via text message or email, and have the ability to view the event log via a PC as well as program and interrogate the control panel over TCP/IP. I don't know the Texecom products very well but it looks like I would need…

The Visonic Powerlink which enables internet access for Visonic Powermax alarm seems to be very difficult to get hold of! I see you have it on this website but it is out of stock. Do you know 1) When it will be in stock. 2) Can it be bought without any cameras (sold with one here) as it is quite expensive and I just want to have the internet access. I already have other cameras.

I am upgrading the alarm system in my home and I am looking for... 1/. A quality detector to use in my conservatory which, being on the SW side of the house, experiences very high temperatures in the summer the obvious changes from direct sunlight to shade. I also have a problem in that the ideal location - where the sun will not strike the unit - has a piece of furniture obstructing. So I can only site in a position where at times the sun may actually strike the unit. Ideally I would like a unit that incorporates glass break detection 2/. We have a log cabin. I am concerned that - should anyone decide to enter one of the methods they could easily use is a battery…

I'm tring to programme the bell time on this panel in engineering mode. When I press "6", LED's 1,2 and 3 should show but I'm getting 1,3,5 and 7 and then it won't go any further. Does anyone know what this means and why it is happening?

  15. Hi I have just ordered a texecom odyssey 3E bellbox. I was going to buy a 4E but the neighbours strobe is totally invisible in daytime so you cant identify where the irritating wailing originates from unless you live next-door!!! How bright are the strobes on these units? Can I have it so it is powered ONLY from the panel (accenta G4) and not the internal battery? Is any fixing equipment included such as wall plugs etc..? oh and is the strobe LED or xenon??? Has anybody got datasheets for this unit that I could read up on?? Can't seem to find any!

My question is this. Are all the biscuits in an 11-20 blue-pack (as above) the same, apart from the numbered stickers, or is the internal wiring different? I ask because I've just broken a No 20 while attempting to replace a doorbell plate. Can I use another biscuit from the same pack as a replacement, or will this upset my alarm system? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm no expert. I've asked for high-priority because my house alarm is disabled by the problem.

Hi, I have ordered the Honeywell Accenta Mini G4 contorl panel with LCD remote keypad and is still waiting for the delivery. But my electrian has asked a question where should the control panel is located. He suggests to put it inside the cupboard next to the MCB board. However, I am thinking where is the internal bell? If it is inside the control panel, so I won't be able to hear the bell as the control panel is inside a cupboard and the door is shutted. However if the bell of the system is in the LCD keypad, there won't be any problem as it is located next to the entrance light switch. Qs: Is the internal bell inside the control panel? Qs: keypad descriptions in…

i'm sorry but yesterday i received your ex-35r optex detectors and, comparing with mine, i discovered that inside my detector there is one more transmitter, probably compatible with my General Electric "Simon" alarm. here you can see the manual (in italian) of my "Simon": http://www.hesa.com/index.php?page=shop.getfile&file_id=658&product_id=515&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=37 in this manual it is written that Simon works with any "autolearning" detector SX ITI at 433Mhz. if you want, i would like to send you a picture to show the transmitter that is inside, and if you have it i can purchase, or if you have detectors compatible with my alarm system …
