I moved into my current property and had an extension done to the building. As a result I haved added detectors (from SecurityWarehouse) to the alarm panel (Honeywell G2-12).

 

However, when the alarm engineer attempted to access the menu, the code I was given was not working. Hence the engineer is locked out of the menu

 

What is the best way to get into engineer menu and reprogramme the panel?

 

any help would be appreciated?

Engineer codes are kept by the installer, and are not usually given out, if you check the manual, if you have it, you may be able to default the settings. 

You have enabled Level 3 access to allow the engineer to enter his code ?

 

Menu option 48 1 - Enable L3 Access.
