Secware Posted June 11, 2012 Share Posted June 11, 2012 I have a flat which is fairly secure and unlikely to be broken into. However for £200 or so it seems a good idea to fit an alarm. I have been considering the Yale Premium and was looking at a forum on http://www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=255745&start=30. I like the Yale for its Zoning (alarm at home), the Communication, the Remote Controls (keyfob or keypad), Wireless and DIY at around £185 which includes 2 PIRs and 2 Door Contacts but excludes any Remote Controls. Personally I would go for a hard wired system, not radio, but there are a lot of radio fans out there. Radio is quicker to fit.
