It sounds like you have either a failed controller or pir. DIsconnect all pirs andding one of them (test each one) and see if the fault disappears. If so start adding pirs back into the system until the fault reappears

I dont know of a manufacturer that supplies boards only. But may be available as a special order. Usually one would replace the whole sounder to keep it looking as new as spossible as this is the detterent

A max reader us usually outside a door and is a reader only. A keyprox is a keypad and proximity reader combined

No not a mains powered one. There are battery led kits available but the only way to emulate a sounder is to use a real sounder and power it from a powersupply

It may well be but shock sensors still do latching but i dont know of a pir that supports it anymore. YOu may be able to find some new old stock. Installers dont do that anymore (for some time) as panels are bigger and its best practice to put everything on its own circuit. Walk test is to remotly disable/enable the led not latch

Im not sure that latching PIR's are a thing anymore. DO you actually need the latch function?
