  1. No there isnt 2 bell outputs on that panel. I would suggest the use of a double pole relay to trigger each bell then the high security resistors can be used too.
  2. -Hold = V- EXT = S- & ST- +12v = V+ You will need a relay to use the tamper return on that panel as it doesnt have a tamper return for the sounder. The relay is then wired into a zone
  3. Good panel I guess this is for app use? Expansion module (to be able to turn on lights using a relay or two) External siren The internal siren will trigger on all events, but cannot be classed as a BS5839 Fire Alarm PIR's + smoke detector + heat detector + CO2 detector + Door contacts. Driveway sensor is for another day. Id recommend these http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=3131 Paenl wise id recommend the siemens SPC due to its flexability and programming via the web interface. It also supports x10 (currently will be upgraded to modbus) for home automation and control via the mobile apps.
  4. If you mean could the hlr trigger a sounder then yes. Just wire the trigger wire through the relay in common and nc
  5. There isnt a hard and fast written rule as it depends on many factors. Training and experience is the only way. Id agree a curtain brushing the window is too sensitive but if you have large windows you may not have enough detectors for the size of the protected unit and they have been wound up too high.
  6. I'm afraid our products are designed for professional installation. They are not a diy type product. We can advise on product choice etc and can then support your installer.
  7. Its a normally closed relay, opening on beam interruption
  8. I don't think they are compatible as the cpx keypad supports prox.
  9. As above there is no official support for the above on linux
  10. You will need a method of accepting alarms into your server. This is normally done with gpio or axis alarm modules.
  11. Are you sure your sending the right command?
  12. As above sounds like you have a tamper open somewhere
  13. Have you tested the fuses rather than just visually inspect? it does sound like a blown fuse.
  14. The shock and the glass are combined. It is not a vibration detector but looks for the low level sound of something hitting the windows before the high frequency of it breaking. There are seperate terminals for the pir and the glassbreak
  15. Its unlikely to work as sip etc is designed for voice not data. If you wish to use ip signalling then id advise a panel that supports it natively
  16. Yes bit using the keyboard may flex the board slightly. There is only that pa circuit so if the link is good it must be the board.
  17. Could be a dry joint on the pcb terminal block. Also check both sides if the board for corrosion. O guess the shed isn't heated etc?
  18. Do you want to report this information off site? if so you will need a digi card that supports the sia 3 protocol. or use a siemens panel that can do this via broadband with smartphone apps etc. for active reporting you will need a monitoring account. the hkc van do this via its built in speech and sms unit (Bt)
  19. Id either use the Honeywell smoke unit or the menvier m12
  20. Ensure the connection is good on the link, ie terminal connections are tight.
  21. ag6 will be fine. detector wise assuming a lot but id go for a siemens g2 pir, or an optex saver.yes the 2.2 will fit
  22. Are you still accessing via your mobile?
  23. As above it may be a proxy issue, how are you connecting to the internet?
  24. Erik, what's not working, is the module responding and texts etc don't work? Have you proved the sim in a handset etc
