I had some difficulty with the, Honeywell Reson8 Bell Box during install at the weekend, i could not get SCB functionality to work, i initially thought the wiring may be damaged so i took the box to the control panel with a short cable and tried again, to no avail, the circuit on the sounder does not seem to react when the spring is depressed, and the case is shut. and the Green Indicator does not come on at any point. I have managed to use the sounder as sounder and strobe only, but wondering if there is anything else i can do to resolve, as the customer would like the lights on the sounder to flash and show the box is live.

The reson 8 bell has two tampers back and front please check both the tampers , the green LED indicates healthy tamper if it's not on that means there is an open

tamper /tamper issue with Reson 8.

 

As above sounds like you have a tamper open somewhere
