  1. Hello I have a Honeywell Galaxy Dimension Alarm system, with the plastic housing RF module and a mk7 keypad fitted. I am looking to upgrade to Galaxy Flex to make use of the App, and also the mk8 keypad. My current system has several faults I cannot clear, and unfortunately my Alarm installer has gone AWOL and he has changed the default engineer codes. Can you let me know if this would be the right kit to replace my current panel: Model: C005-S1-E1+CP051-01+A083-00-02 - £208.65 Ex VAT And do you sell the backup battery to suit this new panel

  2. Could you please advise as to whether the Scantronic 723 Keyfob Set/Unset Transmitter works with the ION16 and ION40 Scantronics alarm panels. I need to be able to use for both Set/Unset and PA functions VERY IMPORTANT that both can be done.

Hi, I had some problem getting the SMS work with the service provider here in sweden and therefore I'am thinking about using the internet and try to avoid using an ordinary alarm central. 1 Do you have any equipment I can use to send alarms via internet from my alarm panel? 2 Is there any crude variant where I can let the alarm call my mobile and I can get some status and maybe even control the panel with my mobile phone? Best reg.

  10. Started by Secware,

I'm interested in a Visonic Powermaster 10 Kit with additional peripherals. However, there are a few questions I haven't found information about. - The system has partition support but still only can handle one partition according to the brochure. How come? - Is the central proximity tag compatible out of the box or do you need a remote keypad? - Is your kit supplied with Euro mains plug? - If not connected to a monitoring centre is the alarm info sent only by SMS to numbers by choice or is there also voice dialing involved?

  13. Hi I am new to wiring up alarm systems and have 2 SC550/WH door contacts to add into a Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 system. There are no instructions for wiring the 6 connectors on the contacts. I assume the middle two are for the tamper. Where do the power and relay connect?

  16. Started by chri15athome,

Hi I am a newbie here, I had an older alarm panel and as the PIR's were rubbish I replaced all the PIR's with new Bosch ones, but the control panel tamper sensors have had it so now I need a new control panel. I would really like to fit a door contact or virbration sensor to the rear patio doors but it would be a real pain to get a cable to it. Are there any wireless panels that could accept wired and wireless sensors? I am happy with all the other sensors I have so I don't want to install a complete wireless system. Thanks for your help Chris

  17. I was wondering if you could help me? I am looking at this gsm module as a means of contact me. I have no telephone landline at the premises I want to install this and I need something that will phone me like a mobile phone and not just send text messages as this would not work, due to hearing a text message at night. Also how many numbers can be stored/programmed into the module?

  21. We recently purchased a system which includes 2 x Pyronix Deltabell and a honeywell ADE GEN4 metal system. When reading the Pyronix data sheet it states that the bell trigger to the Deltabell must not be in paralled ( ie from one output ) two outputs must be used. The problem is I dont think the GEN 4 panel has a second bell output terminal, or have i missed it? As the deltabell is class 3 we have to install a resistor (4k7) from the +ve to the bell trigger ( to give it aprox 2v or above during normal mode ). With one deltabell this works fine. How should I connect the other deltabell? would a solution be to install a 2K resistor in place of the 4K7 and set both bells t…
