Intruder Alarms

My question is why does the battery fuse blow every time I connect the battery? The battery is being connected the right way round. I disconnect the battery, change the fuse and reconnect the battery - the fuse blows. I've been doing this with the mains power on, so not to activate the siren. Is the battery or control panel faulty, or do I need to completely power down before changing the fuse (I can't see how this would change anything)?

Risco Gardtec KITCP8LG2 I've a problem with one of the central units. It isn’t possible to set the number of times the bell is capable of sounding during a set period. If the system is triggered, the bell sounds always, even the third, fourth, … time when the number of bell re-arms is set to two. I’ve already disconnected all the connections and made a factory reset, but it isn’t making a solution. Please can you help me?

I have a texecom premier which has alarmed but I cannot re set it as it looks like it may need an engineers code. Is there some way of re booting it to put it back to factory default codes. If not, rather than call out the alarm company is it possible to just replace the control panel. Do I need to replace the local lcd keypad as well. If I disconnect the control panel to replace it will the external siren go off? Regards

I have a question regarding one of the configuration settings on the NEXT PG2 The 'Disarm Activity' setting has a number of options including: Not Active, Yes-No Delay, Yes + 5s delay...etc I am confused about the 'delay' setting. What does the 'delay' value relate to, i.e. the delay between what and what? Also, in what type of scenario would the device be configured to be 'Yes + 30s delay' for example.

We are Electrical Contractors (had products from SW in the past) normally install bells only systems but we have been asked us to replace an old system. (monitoring not required)customer ideally want a hard wired system planning to use Pyronix KX15DT`s and Pyronix Databell Plus My question is what would be a suitable control panel 8 zone minimum with 2 RKP`s which will allow programming etc with a Smart or Android phone ? My system is showing a fault "Telecommand Batt Low" which refers to the 723r Telecmmand remote setting device. I have changed the batteries in the 3 telecommand devices I have however the system continues to show the error. I have moved the system into Engineer mode and it will not now exit. Going through the command set to exit Engineer Mode ie 99 tick, the systems goes through the "checking system bus" bit ok and after agreeing to "exit eng" the unit starts the "Checking System" routine and then flags up the "Telecommand Batt Low" problem again and will exit the Engineer Mode. How do I get out of this, as I say I have put new batteries in the remotes but this does not …

Just bought an apartment with the above alarm fitted. At present no one seems to able to give us the access codes rendering the unit useless to us. Is there anyone who can reset it for us and/or give some helpful advice on its use. Thanks, best regards

Our premises has a security system supplied by you (quite a while ago now) and is fitted with a Honeywell AG6 external sounder. I need to disconnect the mains as well as the battery for an extended period and, after putting in the engineer code can remove various items, but when I remove the battery, the AG6 sounder keeps sounding. How do I switch this off?

I have EATON SECURITY building alarm system …with Eaton Speech Dialer model TSD2-UK …however the telephone lines are now been replaced by digital phone via internet hub…so this will no longer operate. Could you please advise new EATON Speech Dialer using SIM card or other as a replacement…may need external aerial to increase range/ signal. Do you supply necessary SIM card ? I have a domonial Crt 800 ++I have a problem with setup of the alarm system becourse I do not have the installation software. I thought it was enough to buy the TCU4-800M but I can not get the alarm system to work together. Is there an another way for me to program the system, or do you have the software and necessery cables to get the alarm to work.

we bought a galaxy 2-12 C012 some time ago and when we are trying to enter with the engineer code it is saying invalid code is there a way how to factory reset so the codes will be all reset please? it is a galaxy 2-12 honeywell intruder alarm panel

i have paired my deltabell external sounder (see previous posts)problem i have now is whenever i enter my alarm code - the external sounder goes?when i do enter the codeit does bring up a message on the displayTesting....and then the standard now arming message...there is no alert about the external deltabell being triggered on the display panel and re entering the alarm code does not turn it off either. i have to access engineer menu and and exit and then it says 'saving nvm data' and it turns offproblem i have is i cannot set the alarm in either of my zones without the external sounder immediately going off?any advice on how i can fix this please?

I've got the issue with ADE Honeywell Easy Set bought from you about 2 years ago. It requires resetting(cutting the power off) at least twice a year. Is it a known issue with these? Basically the keyfobs stop functioning and reset always helps when it happen.
