I have a question regarding one of the configuration settings on the NEXT PG2

The 'Disarm Activity' setting has a number of options including: Not Active, Yes-No Delay, Yes + 5s delay...etc

I am confused about the 'delay' setting. What does the 'delay' value relate to, i.e. the delay between what and what? Also, in what type of scenario would the device be configured to be 'Yes + 30s delay' for example.
