I have an application where the customer has a wired system and wants a sensor put on a door but doesn't want a wire running across or in the wall. Is there a wireless door contact that can tx to a receiver that interfaces to the wired system ? Regards.

I need to replace a PIR on my 500r+ system. I've got 515r PIR's and notice you've got 520r PIR's "compatible with 500r+" so it looks like that's a reasonable replacement. Can you confirm that it would be a viable replacement, operates on the same frequency etc.

Hi, hoping you can help. Following a recent burglary thought I'd try and fix my alarm system! I've currently got a 12 year old Optima system that doesn't really work. Wondering if a new battery would fix it, or should I simply replace the unit with an upgrade? I have a number of wired sensors around the home, not sure if I should replace or keep? External sounder may also need an upgrade, as well as placing an additional box on the front of the house, not sure if I should fit a dummy box,or wire in an additional sounder? I am having difficulty in setting up this unit. My main exit entry is via zone 5 full set A. At night the main exit rout is via zone 2 and set with B. The problem is that if you enter through zone 5 when part set in B the system does not recognise zone 5 is open. Can anyone help?

Having had a Texecom R8 installed since 1996 the only thing that has now failed is the "5" on the Keypad, so I have replaced the old one with new 2010 version. The swap out has worked fine, but the Red Zone 1 & 3 lamps are on all the time, I have check the wiring and all is OK, and I have done the the scan for Keypads "0 9" from the new keypad, all appears to be OK, but the the Red Zone 1 & 3 lamps remain on (on the keypad) Date stamp on the Main box is also 1996, so is this a backwards compatabity issue with the new keypad and the old main box?

I am interested in buying a Premier Elite 48 panel from you and see that it comes with 8 Zones as standard. I understand that there are expansion slots in the panel to add more zones each slot in card gives an additional 8 zones. My installation will require around 28 Zones in total, so my questions are: How many expansion slots are there in the Elite 48 Panel before having to go to an external Expansion Module? Does Texecom produce a 16 Zone internal card or only 8 Zone? If I have to use an external module, is this powered from the main panel or will I require an addition Power Supply? What configuration will I need to have 32 Zones in total which will give me some …

Does anyone know anything about this alarm system? It just keeps setting itself off without us setting the alarm. Its keeping us up at night and im getting desperate. Someone please help with any knowledge at all. Oh and it doesnt let us reset the system at all!

Is Pyronix M12 (BlueLED) same connections as older M12?

I have purchased these intems against your order number 22312. I am having problems setting up the receiver to recognise the transmitter. I have teh items to hand, connected and ready to program, The transmitter is set/connected as a mode 6.with the door switch supplied. The receiver however doe's not recognise the the transmitter. Currently it hase the yellow supervision light on with the two red zone lights flashing.
