Hi, I am interested in the Visonic Power master alarm to install in a carehome I look after. I have seen one of these systems before and it seems to work well. I need the system to have two door contacts, the most important feature the home is looking for is the door chime feature so I need this to be quite loud, is it? The alarm feature will be loud enough, they always are, this will only be set at night with no PIR required as there will be movement in the house, so still just the door sensors. I have fitted a challenger model before and the chime function was nowhere near loud enough so I am hoping this is better, it did seem to be on the one I seen. If not, is there a…

Hi I ordered some Honeywell ECO1002 detectors with ECO1000BREL12L bases, I intend to fit install them on a Galaxy Flex 20 system, reading through documentation I believe I need non-latching bases is that correct and do the bases have the required resistors installed.

What is the price for the system and will you deliver it. i would like the fobs with it and the card to arm it and dis-arm it too, does this come with the kit? On 30 April 2015 you delivered my order including Scantronic 9651 + 9943 keypad,, 2 off Guardall PQ15 PIR, plus cable and brackets. I hang my head to admit that I am only now finishing the modification to an existing system for which I ordered the parts. Cause of the change was that the original installer had run one cable to 2 back-to-back PIR, and the cable route was forced in beside central heating pipes etc and seemed to be frequent intermittent giving faults. I have resited one PIR which I replaced with a PQ15, and added an additional PIR to the system. I ran new cable to both PIR. Hi, I am thinking about buying a Le Sucre alarm system. I am discouraged to buy a professionally installed system because of the high maintenance charges. Is the installation of the Le Sucre system straightforward enough for a member of the public to install? bought a complete system buy you. Now I have a configuration issue. The alarm triggers directly when I enter, now entry delay is active. I have chosen 1. Exit/entry delay 1 for door contact and 3. home e/e for motion sensor in hallway. Is this correct? I want to be able to have Home zone active without triggering the alarm (except when door is opened). Should I choose antoher zone type for motion sensor in hallway?

Hi, Can you advise on a simple and robust wired alarm for a cold and damp Scout hut. I will be installing it myself but I don't expect major problems with that side of things... Hi, Looking for a panel that can control a relay whereby when the alarm is set, e.g. when leaving the building, a signal is sent from the panel to a relay. This signal causes the relay to switch and so makes another device active. The signal stays continuous whilst the panel is set. Conversly, when the panel is un-set, the signal is withdrawn and so the relay becomes inactive. Looking for a low cost compact wired model preferrably. Which model do you recommend? Thanks

I am replacing my old alarm system. I have done some research and it appears Scantronic are a good make in terms of functionality and reliability and come recomended from a colleague who has installed them previously. I have a wired sounder at present and want to maintain the wired asoect if possible. I'm looking at: i-on16 Control Panel (1) 714 Wireless PIR (6) Wireless door contacts - brown (2) Compatible wired sounder or the wireless one for i-on16 Please advise if the above are all compatable and what is my best option for a sounder. Also would the wireless PIR work in my detached garage? It's approximately10 metres from the control panel location.

After a mains power failure all the alpha numeric characters have disappeared from the LCD display with only the top line of the display now showing black rectangles. Is there a system component failure or can the display be recovered?

Risco beams 72 series (7225,7250 and 7275). The data sheet tells me what the tamper output is but not the alarm output ie if it a changeover relay, contact closure in alarm condition etc.
