After a mains power failure all the alpha numeric characters have disappeared from the LCD display with only the top line of the display now showing black rectangles.

Is there a system component failure or can the display be recovered?

    Please try powering down the complete panel and powering back up . if that doesn't clear it please give us a call for troubleshooting .
