The systems re-starts itself making impossible to use is as it fires the alarms every time the systems re-starts. The system installation was installed about 2 weeks ago and at the beginning, about every day, at any time (middle of the night or right in the afternoon) the systems alarm was on but with NO intruder detection as the system was NOT armed. Watching the log events, every time that it fails, shows “START UP” and “MAINS OK” and the LCD Keypad shows new date and time as when start up for first time (like default factory data). With this information, I understand that power is being lost for some reason so I changed the main power supply connections just to make …

Hi, I wish to intall a wireless alarm system that includes both an wireless external sounder/strobe and a wireless smoke detector. My question is which is the best, it is for a 3 bedroom house, I have had the Powermax plus before and never had any issues but there was never the choice that seems to be around now. I am basically after the most reliable system. Thanks Nick_P

I have a Gardtec 800 system with an 8 way zone expander unit. After a lightening storm the panel comes up with a fault: LEX1 tamper. I believe this is a line expander unit fault. You are selling a Gardtec 02083 Zone expander unit - is this the same as the line expander unit I have (label with EX MO1/11 EN50131-1 PD 6662 G3 EC2 PR5705 Rev 1.0 4390) I would appreciate your help.

I am only using 6 zones & no PA. I have programmed zones 1-6 as used and 7 & 8 as unused. When I try the Walk Test as soon as I input '0' for the test, zones 7&8 LEDs light up and an intermittent tone sounds. Any ideas??

Hi, I'm going to replace my existing (faulty) Eurosec CPX alarm and I'm intending on purchasing the Texecom Premier Elite 24-W Kit from you: 1 x Premier Elite 24-W Complete Kit (GED-0013) 5 x Premier Elite Ricochet Impaq (GBB-0001) additional sensors for the windows (impact) and door (using the included magnetic contact) 1 x Premier Com2400 (CEC-0001) for communications I have a few questions though: Will the com2400 fit inside the control box supplied with the above kit? I am looking at purchasing the Honeywell Galaxy Flex 20 UK Panel together with ESP Fireline smoke and heat detectors. Can these be used in conjunction with one another i.e. integrate the detector system into the alarm panel, setting it up as a fire zone? Or are the ESP Fireline detectors only suitable for a fire panel?

I need to replace a PIR on my 500r+ system. I've got 515r PIR's and notice you've got 520r PIR's "compatible with 500r+" so it looks like that's a reasonable replacement. Can you confirm that it would be a viable replacement, operates on the same frequency etc.

Hi there, I'm trying to source the components for an alarm kit for a building which is divided into two with two separate doors, but ideally one common alarm system. I have worked out that I need - Bellbox (external) - Keypad x2 (RFID/Tag or similar would be great!) - PIR x 3 - Control Box with backup battery - Door contact x 3 - Cable & Clips Would you be able to advise in which products you think would be most suitable?

I am unable to enrol the KP-141 PG2(June2013) to the Power Master 30 alarm system(Nov2012): - Full enrolment procedure: I select the * key on the keypad until the LED turns on and then release the * key. The Power Master 30 alarm system (i.e. Add New Device -> Enrol Now) indicates on its display, "Incompatible Device". - Pre-enrolment procedure: I enter the Id of the device into the Power Master 30 alarm system and it is accepted (i.e. Add New Device -> Enter Id). However, the Power Master 30 alarm system indicates that the keypad cannot be networked.
