Hi, I have the ADE honeywell accenta mini gen 4 with LCD keypad and as second pad I have the Simple Set Reader.Can I buy the ADE Infomaer speech dialler and use it on this hardware? I also want to buy a 16ohm internal speaker. Now I have set 2 programms, 1 for in the day when we are going (every PIR is on) and 1 for night use (all PIRs are on downstars but upstairs they are off). Now my Simple Set REader is upstairs, how can I program it that only program2 for night is on when I go with the FOB on the pad? Thanks

The sounder on the control panel works correctly but the remote keypad emits no sound at all when being used to set the system. Is it a setting problem, a wiring problem or a defective remote keypad?

I Purchased a Galaxy Dimension panel last week. It didn't come with an installation or programming manual.I have found some information on line. But need a few answers if possible. What are the external bell box connections? What are the internal sounder connections? I have the system operating with a few detectors and the system has 1 fault which is because it does not have a telephone connection. Can this facility be turned of as I don't need this facility at the moment? If not what is the best way to clear this fault so the system has no faults and is usable.

What PIR detector should I fit in my garage? My heating boiler is also in there and will be in the sight line.I thought about the Honeywell DT 7450 but I have read some bad reports about it.

Hi, I recently fitted a scantronic panel and key pad for my parents after there old alarm system went faulty, I could do with some help programming the Scantronic: 1) Door chimes I am unsure weather this has to be activate in the engineers menu and how ? 2) Part Set for night time, I am also unsure how to disable the landing PIR and make it so they have time to access the key pad down on the hall way that is covered by another PIR. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had scantronic 9800 alarm system installed 20 years ago, working fine, my key pad box cover is broken which covers all the key pad, there is Scantronic 9827 key pad only which is on your website it says it is now obsolete, will this key pad is same as my 9800 key pad with the cover and work same as old key pad? If it is I would like to order ASAP.

I have a system in a gun club that uses the scantronic 9800 which is now becoming unreliable due to its age. It is also in a humid environment which does not help! I would like to replace the unit with a new one so am interested in the 9752. Could you tell me if this is a good choice and if it is then can I (not an alarm engineer but good with electronics) swop the unit over easily. Thank you for your advice. S. Cooke

We have a Scantronic 9752 system with 2 9955 rfx expanders. The zone in the garage has a dual tech pir and transmitted using a 735r. About every two days we get a Sup Fail message on this zone. Distance is about 45 yards - easy line of sight and only a thin slate roof for the signal to get through. Suspecting the transmitter was not strong enough we recently bought from you the 703r transmitter and unfortunately still have the same problem. We tried the zone on both 9955 receivers which both show a signal stength of 6. So we have effectively changed the transmitter and the receiver and appear to have a good signal but are still getting Sup fail messages. Any idea what …

can these Honeywell Intellisense DT 7450 pir be used in conservatories or can you reconmend one. I am working on an alarm that has a pir in the conservatory but it keeps going off.

The keypad panel on my Flex 20 is showing a series of stars. Whilst I was away we had a thunder storm which knocked out my internet (it impacted the router). It also appears to have knocked out the intruder alarm, which sat next to it. When I went to check it there was no power coming out from the panels 15v power supply. I subsequently plugged in a 12 volt one which powered up the alarm and the keypad, which is now displaying a series of stars / asterisks, and is non responsive. Hi, I have an ADE ID Ultimate alarm panel and connected devices, plumbed into my property. The panel has been doing some weird things of late, I have replaced the battery and checked all the fuses but still it's giving me grief. Do you have any suitable alternatives that work off the same kind of 4 wire technology to save having to re-wire the house. I have both of the 30 channels enabled but I don't have 60 items connected, I tried to split off the fire detectors from the rest of the alarm devices. Cheers,
